So far so good - some details...
Purchased this over the holidays at a really good price here on Amazon. Learned later that there is a new model coming out this March 2020. Customer service couldn't tell me anything about it, really. The new one looks mostly to be cosmetic with the addition of Bluetooth connectivity rather than WiFi.Cooler arrived on time, unscathed.I set it up in my shop plugged into AC. It took a few hrs to cool down, and the temp does fluctuate +/- 2 or so degrees. I was aware of this per other reviews and I don't think it will bother me - it's a DC cooler, people. The first thing that caught my concern was that it was louder than I thought. This only really lasted for the big cool-down. Then when it was just maintaining, it would kick on every once in a while with that same fan noise - say 30db (quiet whisper) but only for a short bit. This would only be a deal if you're sleeping next to it and were a sensitive sleeper or maybe trying to record the sound of silence nearby. Nevertheless, more noticeable than I expected but no way near a deal breaker. The WiFi app and connection sucked, but I won't be needing that very much. I mean, my fridge at home doesn't talk to me, so I don't see why I'd want my cooler pinging me when overlanding and I'm like.....right there and will probably obsessively check on it anyway.Overall feels very sturdy.I did plug in my Jackery Powerbank (300w I think) to see how it performed. It only kept it to temperature for about 9 or so hrs before it went dead. So I'm going to be figuring out a power solution for road tripping. Will update later in the year after heavy use.----- UPDATE -----This thing is a lifesaver during this pandemic we're experiencing. It's been plugged in for 5 weeks straight and keeping the backup produce and dairy cold. I will say that the temperature readings on the fridge are not accurate, especially when it is stuffed with food. I have been using aux thermometers and the temps the fridge says it is vs the aux meters are wildly different, so I am going off the aux thermometers. For power - I did an experiment with a Jackery 240. With the fridge plugged into the Jackery's DC port via the Fridge's DC input (so DC to DC) the bettery powered the fridge for about 26hrs. This is in a steady climate of 65 degrees and the fridge already pre-cooled. Pretty impressive, but the duration would definitely go way down in hot weather. For in the field: I have removed the rear seat in my 2016 Toyota Tundra (the larger 60% side) and the fridge fits perfectly. Now to just be allowed to leave the house.

Our Dometic CFX75DW is awesome for keeping items at the proper temperature wherever we are.
We bought this for overland camping in our Subaru. It works really well, replacing the Pelican rotomolded cooler that we had which was not so great at either keeping ice or anything else cold or dry. The best part about the Dometic is that we can have Ice Cream while overlanding and all of our food stays at the proper temperature. The fridge compartment (we use the big compartment for this) keeps everything properly cool and the freezer (one I learned how to set it properly) keeps things very frozen. It is absolutely game changing not to need to buy ice everyday for the cooler and we can actually fit everything inside of it, because you can use the full inside space for food, not having to have it half full of ice. We have had it on the beach at the ocean for a week and it kept our food cold and safe. It is also great to be able to put food in the cooler the week before we go and just plug it in so that we have one less thing to worry about the day that we leave, as the food is already packed and ready to go and I don't forget things in the house fridge (again). That said, when one (or both) of the compartments are set to freeze, it runs A LOT and pulls a LOT of battery power. I understand that this is due to the nature of it being a compressor based system but just be prepared for the power use. Sometimes, if we don't need the freezer section, we turn it off so that it doesn't use the extra power. With just the fridge freezer in fridge and freezer mode, our 55ah deep cycle will barely last the night if it is hot outside. It's also important to set the freezer temps to lower than you might think, yes water will eventually freeze at 32F but ice cream won't stay hard at that temp. We usually keep it around 0F now and it works awesome. We even took an ice cream cake for my mom's birthday camping weekend and had it on the last night, and it was perfectly frozen still.Overall, definitely worth the purchase and while it is a little heavy and a little power hungry, we love having the two compartments and the ability to have them set as we would like. It runs flawlessly on 120V or 12V and is an asset for our overland travel.

Works well as a freezer with a reflectix cover
We bought this to use as a spare refrigerator/freezer in our RV. During the COVID-19 crisis we are using it in the house as a freezer set at 10 degrees. The compressor/fan is pretty quiet, but cycled on quite a bit until we made a cover for the unit out of Reflectix - Top and sides, with opening for the vent. Now it cycles on much less. It is a bit of a pain to take the cover off to get into the unit, but it will likely extend its lifespan quite a bit. It is quite expensive for a home freezer, but gives us flexible power and added capacity in the RV. We thought about getting a much cheaper Chinese unit, but the Dometic products in our RVs have lasted a long time. Having a freezer go when it is packed full of meat would get expensive.

Survived a winter camping trip
We got this before going on a camping trip. The trip ended up being MUCH colder than expected. The Dometic kept pretty good temperature -- it never quite got down to 0F on the freezer side, but was always very close (no more than 5F).It's a pretty heavy duty cooler. It was a little awkward to setup in the bed of the truck to connect it to power during the drive and it needs two people to lift in/out of the truck/car, but it handled very well!

Awesomeness
Oh my goodness is this thing real this cooler works insanely well the ability to have a freezer is just crazy to me kept popsicles perfect temp love this cooler beyond words update still awesome keep it plugged in full time since I bought it works best if you have everything pre cooled when you switch it to 12 volt less amp draw it's not necessary but if you have limited power while camping and using let's say a decent size car by battery with no charging if pre cooled I can get 3 days on that battery I will post 12 volt draw while the compressor is on next updated these pics are compressor on in 120 ac it was drawing 54 watts with swings to 60 watts

Very good quality and versatile.
I bought this unit over a year ago for our camperized cargo trailer (which is not equipped with a fridge). During the winter months, I’ve brought it into the house and have been using it as a beverage fridge. It is a quality appliance that works very well. Sturdy build, quiet, versatile, and easy to set up. If i had the need, I’d buy another one in a heartbeat.

Low power draw, works great
Perfect for me. Don't overlook that it weighs 70 lbs. I have the fridge section at 2, and the freezer at -16. It will auto switch from AC to 12v DC if the power fails, if you plug it in to both.It does make some noise, as it has a compressor, but I can still sleep almost right beside it. I am very happy that I purchased it.

Product works great.. freezer is a little sporadic
Product works great..freezer is a little sporadic..set to 0F.runs mostly around 2-4F..then once in a while will go down to -7-9F. As long as stuff stays froze that's great..larger side as fridge keeps to 34F
