Can't be programmed by the end user.
As I found out after the fact, the remote cannot be programmed by the end user. The programming must be done by an 'authorized' dealer with proprietary software. No changes, modifications or trouble shooting when something goes wrong.There are currently many 'universal' remote control devices available. This device is uncontrollable.Don't buy one of these.

Works intermittently- very frustrated with RTI remote
Worst remote control system ever!!! We have had this for a year and their is always some type of interference that makes the remotes interoperable. Turns out this is due to a RTI power supply, so I am told. I await the delivery of this unit but have low expectations as we have gone through some many trial and error without muck luck. The interference was isolated down to only the receiver and RTI controller. You can see in the picture that the light, which should be off, is solid on meaning interference is coming through the RTI controller. Still it received interference and all the infrared transmitters lights remained on/red meaning they are not function able. For the amount of money we spent on this I would expect better quality control and research of a product before released.

Do not buy these remotes, they are 399.00 for the RTI T1B and 1 year 4 months later the finish is wearing off the remote on all buttons and casing.We have two of these remotes and its only happening on one (The one we hardly use) The finish is peeling off of buttons I don't even use.I had their dealer come pick it up, he said he has never seen anything like this before, he sent it back to RTI and since its 4 months past warranty they will not cover any of the repair costs. They are charging another 100.00 to replace the case and buttons.I could not believe it, I even called them directly, they were annoyed that I called them and said the dealer should be the only one calling them. Well they got back to the distributor and refused to offer any type of relief on the repair costs, siting its user error that I must be putting some kind of chemical on it or hand sanitizer. I assured them that was not the case, but they still refuse to take any responsibility. Totally unacceptable customer service.Again buyer bewareDavid JacksonRA # 59-362971

This is an expensive system with hardware that is not dependable and no customer support.

This product sucks.
Stay clear of this whole system. T2i remotes have a sealed body- you can"t replace the battery.They have a design flaw that the battery goes dead. For no reason. It just does-We're on our 3rd remote in 5 months. You have to reprogram the whole thing-which is a service call by your installer. THEY COST $!,000 each time the batterygoes dead and I guarantee you it will. This product sucks.
