Worth the money - but don’t buy the expensive fuel!
The media could not be loaded. This is a pretty cool item. I took off a star for the following:1. It doesn’t burn long enough. When it goes out, you can’t re-fill until it cools off. So I wish it had a deeper well.2. The box is made of a rough metal. I wiped it with a paper towel, and now there’s white lint stuck to it that I cannot get off. I thought it would have a smoother, brushed finish. That said, the positives outweigh the negatives. I’ll probably purchase a second unit so I can light it when the first one goes out if I’m still entertaining. You can sprinkle some fire glass around the outside of the well. It works fine and looks nice.I bought denatured alcohol, based on other reviews. It works perfectly and is much cheaper than what’s sold on Amazon with this item. $12 for a gallon. It puts out a nice little amount of heat for sitting around a picnic table. The fuel says not to use it to cook, so I wouldn’t plan on roasting marshmallows or hot dogs on it.The instructions don’t mention the piece of cotton that comes in the well. I thought it was packing material and almost threw it away. It’s actually the wick. Pour the fuel over it and light it. You can use it over and over.I use mine under a 12x10 gazebo and there are no issues with heat.I highly recommend this for your outdoor space!

Don't be timid - the ceramic wick never burns, the fuel burns quickly, the smell is mild.
The white "cotton pad" rectangle that comes in the box is the wick, and it's made of ceramic wool. It will never burn. It's there to stretch the fuel into a miniature horizontal wall. You can lower the flame an inch by stuffing the wick down and raise the flame (within reason) by tugging the wick up half an inch. The fuel burns VERY quickly (30m) and yes, yes, with a mild fuel smell. Not dense like natural gas or propane. Barely there. No one in my family cares. It's pretty and gives a useful amount of heat up close. I haven't tried marshmallows because I don't want to get food on it. Not fun to clean. But most of all, it's as safe as you're going to get for having a literal open flame in a metal box on your dining table. I've literally spilled the fuel, didn't notice, lit the flame... and the burning spilled fuel evaporated so quickly we barely had time to register "wait fire?" before it was gone on its own. Nothing was harmed at all. Not that anyone's advising you test it. Fire is fire. Use smart caution and enjoy the hell out of this little thing. Be prepared to continuously invest in the fuel replacement wick if your wick becomes physically destroyed. (Otherwise it will last longer than you and I will live.) The replacement wick is called Regal Flame Ventless Bio Ethanol Fireplace Fuel Ceramic Wool Wick Sponge. Not sure what dimensions to purchase. My cats shredded my wick so I need to replace.

Beautiful ambiance - great addition - get a 2nd
I love this table top fire place. It was a bit smaller than I expected but I love the fact that you can take it and place it any where you want - indoors and outdoors. The only caveat is that you have to let the device cool down before adding more fuel (which must be purchased separately). When the reservoir is filled the flames last about 45 minutes and it takes about 20 minutes to cool down - so if you can afford it - a second one would be a good idea so they can be swapped out to keep the ambiance going. I used Celestial Fire Glass High Luster, 1/4" Reflective Tempered Fire Glass in Platinum Moonlight, "around" the reservoir to add additional reflection and it works great - really makes the light reflect.

Fire Fluid not included
I loved this when I saw that my friend had one. However, it does not come with the lighter fluid to start the fire and I was unaware before I purchased it so I have to find the right kind and a place that sells it. It was super easy to assemble but it was a little smaller than I thought it was going to be.

Ambiance with a little practicality.
Love, love this little thing!! I've seen different reviews saying it doesn't burn long and gives no heat. Everything being relative, mine burns for close to an hour, which i think it's acceptable, and it has actually raised my thermostat 2 degrees while burning. Of course it's not going to heat a room but it would take the edge off a little during a power outage. It also can burn plain denatured alcohol which is much cheaper. A plus because I use mine almost daily.

Nice Flame that lasts about 40 minutes
Enjoying this. Very easy to assemble. Filling can be a little challeging without a funnel or having a steady hand. Mine lasted about 40 when filled up. I used denatured alcohol purchased from Home Depot ($8 dollars, can probably get 6-8 fills from the can). Seemed to work fine. Will post if I notice any contaminants or ill effects from this fuel. Flame was generally about 4-8" high. Glass gets a little hot. Very relaxing to watch. Great for an screened in porch in the evening.

Don’t know yet how I feel
This came a little chipped on one of the pieces of glasses (that is transport/delivery issue)....besides that I did not receive fuel oil I thought came with item so I have yet to fire it up to be able to give a review on that. Assembly seemed easy but it came with no actually instructions on how to put it together so I may have assembled it wrong, won’t know for sure until I buy fuel to fire it up. The “instructions” you receive are more warnings for safety.

Nice and cozy....but doesn't last long and fuel is expensive
It's a very cute table top. It adds great ambiance to the room. I do love it BUT there are two Down falls. The tank for the fuel is small so it only burns for 30-40 minutes. The fuel is expensive and you get about three fillings per bottle. Once it goes out you must wait for it to cool completely before filling which of course makes since. Will I buy another? It's possible. Maybe larger if tank is longer to get alitte more time with it....but you still face the fuel cost. I read on another post that you could by denatured alcohol and it works fine and is much cheaper. I'm going to give that a try.
