OK collapsible bottles
These bottles do the job that they are designed for. At 250ml they are pretty small. One of these isn't going to keep you hydrated for all that long by itself but they do pack up pretty small and work best with a suitable running vest/backpack.On first use there is a plastic taste to the water. Also, because of the design it's difficult to dry the insides of the bottles after rinsing them so you need to leave them open to drain/air dry with the top removed. The valve is a bite valve but not one that you pull on to open with your teeth like on a cycling bottle. Instead, when you bite the soft outer part the deformation causes the seal to break and makes space for the water to escape.

Bottles fit into front pockets of running vest/backpack
This is a pair of collapsable water bottles. These bottles are the ideal size to fit into the front pockets of the running vest/backpack. Once you have finished one you can fold it down and the vest isn't so bulky. The bottles are leakproof and easier to fill than i thought they would be. They do have a plastic taste to them but i washed them in some baking soda solution and that helped.
