The media could not be loaded. I have had a 144 for several years so was ready to move up to the vision. Was not easy setting up and it mows ok but going home is a nightmare. It can’t seem to find the border or charging station and spend at least a half hour going in circles. A big improvement would be a signal from the charging station to tell it where it is. If you need to put down magnetic strips then what is the difference than having a wire? Worx needs to really work on programing and “going home”

They need to go back to the drawing board and just scrap this thing.1. battery life for a 6.0 amp hour battery is 30 minutes. The vision system eats the battery like nothing I have ever seen.2. If you have grass that is a little taller in spots it thinks its an object and then it goes around it.3. If you grass is thinner it gets confused and just starts freaking out.4. It will cross gravel and fall off a ledge.5. It doesn't recognize that fire hydrant is an object. It would run into it.6. The functions in the application for this item is horrible.I have a wire Landriod and it works well, I had high hopes, but overall this was horrible. DO NOT BUY.Worx team - SCRAP IT. Pull all of them off the shelf.

Been wanting to try one of these out for a while, really interested in the boundary wire less type, and WORX seemed to be the middle budget offering.The good: Like our Roomba, really nice to have it mow with low effort. I say low effort as there are some cons below.Quiet, dogs took a bit to get used to it but now they accept it as another animal that lives in the yard.Safe, the vision system does a good job with detecting objects, like toys and antlers left in the yard by our two labs. Big poop piles also seem to trigger the avoidance.ConsBuilt for smooth yards. it gets stuck if there are depressions in the yard, so we had to fill those in. One of which was an area where one of the french drains for the gutter spout had a bit of depression. It always got stuck thereCharge time is slower than id like. I can get two or three mows in a day. it takes longer to charge than the actual mow time.Vision system is probably two to three generations away from being great. Its good, but it reminds me of an early generation roomba getting stuck or otherwise not knowing what to do in certain situationsIf it doesnt have line of site of the dock, sometimes it wanders around a bit until it sees it. Im not sure if the vision system builds a map or not, but it doesnt seem like it. It has a self dock rate of 70? percentApp works well but needs to be closed after every use. Otherwise you will get connection issues when trying to give the robot a command. A close and reopen worksOverall 6/10, its not a mower replacement. But it does extend the time between mowings. If your yard is complex with sheds and tables and other things, it does a good job going around them. Like an early roomba, if your yard has depressions, prepare to rescue often, but once those are filled in, it works much better. I feel with a few more updates, this would be solid. For the price point, I feel its a good buy if you are patient and have owned robot vacuums and can get used to their drawbacks.I would buy again though, i do wish the battery options were bigger and the charger options were faster. .33 acres, bought the .5 acre model

You really have to babysit it because it's not good at getting out of even small pits or slightly overgrown (4in) grass. You can see it struggle because the motors seem to be underpowered so if it gets stuck it's stuck for good and you have to pick it up. I have an older 2019 Works model that required the boundary wire and the difference in the visible strength is immense. It seems like it was not designed for st augustine grass, so beware if that's your lawn. I feel like if the motors were stronger or the chassis were half an inch higher it wouldn't be having the problems I see. 2 stars because when it gets a stride, it works very well. But its too weak and I have always come out to it stuck in a small, and I mean crawfish and shrew made small hole or slight overgrowth and see used 50% battery by jittering and shaking trying to get out. If it can't complete my entire 1/8 acre yard before my 30-day return policy I will be returning it and swapping it for a used 2019 wire guided model.

I really wanted this to work. The instructions on the app, the mower, and the manual are not consistent. I tried creating zones 4-5 times. Each time the app deleted the zones. The app indicated I should select multi zone exploration. The mower does not have that option. It seems like the software development is lagging.

I wanted this to work for us. I was so excited to get this mower. The mower part is 3 razor blades on a 6" wheel. It cuts a 6" path.... with 3 razor blades. If your lawn does not belong in a magazine then this is not the mower for you. Your lawn needs to be perfect before you put the mower out. The mower will go around most leaves. It will not climb any degree of an incline. The mapping part of the mower is excellent. It knows when to turn and when to stop. This mower will not work for us. Very disappointed.

I might as well just mow the lawn with a self-propelled mower as this takes way to long to mow the grass considering how much it needs to be babysat. I will admit we have a very large yard with some very uneven areas but the amount of time it takes this to mow our lawn, and I do need to be out there to baby sit it, makes it impractical for me. I would say it would definitely be better for a smaller property that is pretty much level and even. For my needs, however, this just doesn't work well.
