S&B, Golden Curry Japanese curry Mix, Medium Hot, 3.2 oz

I am literally addicted to this delicious rue! Since I first bought it to try, I have made it about seven times, and I hate cooking! Easy to make, perfect every time. Excellent if your meat or poultry is a little freezer burned because the delicious spices will mask it perfectly! And we all know how hard it is to throw away food these days!

Luv curried dushes; so decided to give this a try. The reviews made the decision easy... thanks everyone!! Made stir fry better than I've ever made before. Didn't think the rest of the household would like, due to the mild heat, BUT everyone luv'd it and want more... soon. This one's a winner!! 😋

This product is amazing. It's so delicious. If you're running short on time, add some chicken broth to a slow cooker. Add this entire package in there and fill the whole thing with potatoes and in 3 hours. Or when you are ready for eating. You have the most amazing potatoes ever. All you have to do at that point in time is salt and pepper to taste. Add a little bit of cream to the broth and you have a delicious side dish. You can also add this to a pan of rotisserie chicken or of like a ground beef with vegetables. This is an all-around sauce maker for all manner of food. It's convenient. It's quick and it's very tasty. I would highly recommend this.

I purchased Golden Curry on the recommendation of my daughter. I chose the medium-hot version thinking it would be spicy, but the heat level was nearly non-existent. Both my husband and daughter like spicy foods, and I'm generally happy with less spice. I would try the hot version next time, and the medium-hot was not spicy at all! This product is simple to use and perfect for beginning cooks, or anyone who wants an easy-to-make dish that can be tailored to fit your tastes. I used chicken breast, bell pepper, onion, celery, zucchini, and mushrooms in my dish, following the directions on the side of the box. It was good, but needed salt (in my opinion). I added the required 2 cups plus 1/4 cup of water, and I would use 2 cups next time to give the dish more depth of flavor. The curry was as pictured on the box, and it thickened in the last 5 minutes of cooking, and as it cooled a bit. I served it with rice, and my family enjoyed it. I would make it again and recommend it to those who enjoy mild Japanese curry or are looking to enjoy quick, easy, comfort food. NOTE: For those worried about the lead warning, I'm told by my daughter who studied Japanese and spent time in Japan, that is very common as a warning on products imported from Japan. I'm not worried, but as others have mentioned - it is on the label.

This is the key to that classic Japanese comfort food; curry (or Kare). It says medium and it's not too hot. The "spice" level doesn't seem to come from overuse of chilis. The resulting curry has a unique spicyness and is slightly sweet. They are easy to use. Follow the instructions on the side of the box. There's an english verson if, like me, you don't read kanji. You can be a flexible on the meat/vegetables. I found that you can add more water than the box suggests. The instructions call for 540ml but I found that up to 850 ml is also safe. Just make sure you absolutely follow instruction 3. For this step I find that slicing the block of curry into thin pieces and then adding to the mix once it has come off the boil whilst stirring continuously works well. Follow instruction3. This tastes great and gives you a genuine taste of Japanese home/comfort food. Follow the no more than 850ml and Instruction 3 rules nd you'll be fine. Enjoy!

I tried Japanese curry for the first time while visiting Japan and absolutely loved it. After coming home, I decided to try this S&B Golden Curry and was surprised by how similar it tasted to what I remembered. It’s delicious and makes it easy to enjoy Japanese-style curry at home. I’ll definitely be buying it again.

El sabor es muy bueno, volveré a comprarli si no le suben el precio. Lo cociné con leche vegetal, caldo de pollo y agua. Se le puede echar patata, zanahoria, cualquier verdura que tengas y acompañado de arroz está muy bueno.

Pop a cube of this in to some sauteed onions and hot water and let it simmer. Add it to some rice and it's sooooooo good.

Good product. Taste like real jap curry if properly prepared.
