I used these for connecting low voltage lighting that ran around my deck. Holes were easy to drill and I found I could feed two 16 gauge wires through one hole.

Water and dust proof comes with o-ring seal and transparent to see connections clearly for my rv wiring. Would recommend.

It has a transparent cover which is useful for a number of projects. It also comes with a seal that has to be threaded into a groove in the box. Unfortunately, the photo in Amazon page is a little deceiving. The photo I posted shows the difference between the Amazon photo and reality. The box has two notches that protrude into the interior of the box that are for mounting screws to keep them from causing a leak into the box. Unfortunately, they were too large to allow my project fit into the box. The pic on the Amazon page doesn't show these protrusions which is unfortunate. Other than that, it is a nice box.

Adding another string of lights around my garden. Needed a waterproof solution for the connection. Saw these junction boxes and thought I would give them a try. I got the small one as that would be big enough for my needs. I like how it does not come predrilled withe the holes. That allows for a bit of customized placement for the cords. Just need to be careful when drilling as to not damage the box. I like the clear cover as you can see in it and know if the waterproofing is working.

The inside dimensions are smaller than I expected making it difficult to make connections. Check this before ordering. The box itself is well made and should keep connections protected. Expect to drill your own holes.
