I ordered this red mite killer not to actually deal with red mites, but I have been feeding the wild birds for quite a while, and unfortunately there a colony of ants seems to have set up home around the bird table. Being made to use around birds, and containing diatomaceous earth, this product was perfect to get rid of the ants, while not being harmful to the birds.I've applied it to the vase of the bird feeder, and sprinkled it all around that general area two days ago, this morning there were no ants, so I'm hopeful it's working.Overall its a fantastic product, you get a large bottle, with a flip top lid which gives you the choice to pour or sprinkle the powder depending which side of the lid you open, it seems to be working very well, and I'm happy to recommend it.
