Neck Knife Comparison...MT-20-30 and Boker Magnum Lil Friend Clip Micro- Fixed Blade Neck Knife
I am a knife fan/collector and lately I have been focusing on neck knives. I own several and will say that some blades advertised as neck knives are just too big to be carried that way.I was browsing a couple of days ago and came across these two similar neck knives. Now that I have both, I decided to do a quick comparison review. Both are stonewashed finish 440 stainless steel blades, with good retention kydex sheaths (with beaded chains), and lanyard holes at the end of the full tang, approximately 3mm thick blades. Both have coyote color G10 scales, but the Boker scales are twice as thick as the Mtech's.Both are easily sharpened to a nice edge. The Mtech is about as long as I like in a neck knife (4.75") and my postal scale says the knife only weighs 1.5 oz. The Boker is much shorter (3.375") but fine for a neck knife at 1.3 oz. Just add on a lanyard. The thicker scales also help with the grip. Two very nice examples of a neck knife. I will try to post a couple of side by side pics. The Mtech runs about $10 with shipping, and the Boker is about twice that. If I had to choose just one, I think I'd go with the Mtech.

Best necker for 8 bucks!
I bought this knife almost a year ago. It has been a great little companion on many fishing/camping/hiking outings as well as a daily driver! The blade is thick, much thicker than you would think. Many people have commented that the thickness makes it harder to keep an edge, but this is not really true. The thickness is the same as many larger knives, and the primary grind is hollow. This knife can and does take a fine edge. Edge retention is typical of a stainless blade. However, due to the fact that you will not be hammering this through wood (probably), the edge will hold just fine. I only sharpen it for practice when waiting for fish to bite, or relaxing by a campfire. All that sounds great, but should you buy this knife? If you find yourself using various knives in your various activities, then yes! Add another blade to your arsenal. I personally had never used a neck knife, but i find it very handy. Not just for your neck, but many other carry options as well. It is small enough to fit in your pocket like a standard pocket knife, yet wont ever collapse on your finger when used.Due to its diminutive size, rigging it to ride where you need it is fairly easy. I carry it many different ways, depending on where I am and what I am wearing. It is light enough to never be cumbersome. I have enclosed a few pictures to show a modification I made in order to facilitate my carry styles. It is simple: 2 small pieces of gutted paracord with the ends mushroomed (melted).-The 2 straps don't get in the way if you stick the whole thing in a pocket.-The end strap can be flipped out and ring knotted to a lanyard for neck carry.-Both straps can be fed thru a belt.(My belt pictured is a hair under 1.5" wide)

Super Knife!
Love this little knife. My first 'neck knife' and I really did not think this would work for me, but it's been a great. Now I ALWAYS have it along. Pocket carry has become more problematic for me and this is the solution. So many reviewers surprised at the small size. It is small but matches specs listed. I think the surprise comes because it looks bigger in photographs due to it being perfectly proportioned to a large knife. So many small knives have weird proportions like tiny one finger handle and larger blade. Or the opposite. This looks like a normal knife but shrunken, so a photo with no reference can make the viewer see the knife as larger. I've included a photo of it sitting on an iPhone 5 as a reference. Great knife. Small enough to wear under my dress shirt but not too small to use. I did put a good edge on it when I got it. It wasn't exactly dull but not as sharp as I like, sharpened quickly and easily.

MTech's MT0-20-30 micro knife is a fantastic EDC choice
The first thing you think of when you see this knife: What a sexy little knife! But don't let it's adorable size fool you, this is one mighty well crafted micro knife! The MTech MT-20-30 fixed blade micro knife delivers fantastic value and overall quality with it's 2inch out the box sharp drop point blade, full-tang construction, and it comes with a kydex sheath with attached neck chain. The knife is 4 3/4" in length overall, and weighs an approx. 3.2 back breaking ounces =) It comes out of the box nice and sharp, and I was impressed with it's quality considering it only costed me 9 bucks. MTech used a G10 style handle (excellent grip, even when wet), and the blade fits snuggly in the included kydex sheath. I love having this little guy with me throughout the day, and it's the only necklace that I would actually wear! This would be a perfect gift for any guy, and it's also a great every day carry choice, it would even fit it an altoid's tin survival kit if you decided to set one up. I will probably buy a couple more of these around the holidays, I'm glad to have added it to my knife collection.

Me gusto

Excelente relacion calidad/precio
Excelente compra.
