Installation & App Setup We decided to install this low-profile fan in the master bedroom, and the process was just as easy as the listing claimed. My husband handled the physical installation without any issues. Once it was up, connecting the fan to the smart app was a completely smooth and hassle-free process. The app itself is very intuitive and easy to navigate. Lighting & Smart Features The lighting options on this fan are absolutely awesome, and the RGB ambient lighting is easily my favorite feature. The colors are incredibly vibrant, and having the ability to easily tune and dim the lights right from the app completely transforms the feel of the room. Performance & Noise I am highly impressed with how well this fan actually cools the room. For a low-profile design, it moves significantly more air than I expected. Best of all, it is completely quiet while running, making it absolutely perfect for a bedroom setting where you don't want a loud motor keeping you awake. Pros: The RGB lighting is awesome and features highly vibrant colors. Moves a surprising amount of air to keep the room cool. Whisper-quiet operation. Easy physical installation. Seamless app connectivity and a user-friendly interface. Things to Consider: Honestly, I have zero complaints about this fan. It does exactly what it promises and looks great doing it!

**April 2nd, fan is still running flawlessly. The schedules work great within the dreo app **March 1st update (5 stars). New fan running without noise. 1st fan did not start until roughly 2 weeks but defects happen to the even the best manufacturers. Sucks to have to do twice but 2nd time was even faster. About 20 minutes total, opening box included. Original review. (2 stars) Installation was really simple. The blade installation was such an improvement over older models/brands. Unfortunately the wood finish had a noticeable blemish, should not have made it past QA. The ambient light is a nice addition. I had no problems with the remote/app/alexa setup all worked flawlessly. The main light is plenty bright and dims nicely. Color options allow you to pick your preference. Currently, it's making a clicking sound. Just enough to be distracting and annoying. Will take a closer look at it and if I can't fix it (likely the motor itself) I'll get an exact replacement while I'm still in the return window. **also, people complain about the fan ramping up to a higher speed on start-up, this is by design and meant to extend motor life instead of straining to get up to speed slowly.** - Will update if I get a fan that doesn't click.-

Easy to install, a massive air flow. I need to run this at 3. I put this in the master bedroom and it is super quiet. The build quality is very good compared the the Big H fan I had before. The main light is super bright at 100%, the ambient light is very cool, but don’t really see a use. Integrates easily with Alexa. While the remote is big and solid, I prefer to use the app or Alexa, they all work well. The fan looks modern and changed the look of my bedroom. Hope to enjoy this for years to come. I have had Dreo tower fan in the living room for about two years now, works great! This is my second Dreo purchase as they make excellent products.

This is an amazing fan. The amount of air it moved is much more powerful than my previous ceiling fan. Being a smart fan, I was able to easily setup a routine with my Amazon echo device that turns the fan on and off at certain times and sets the speed of the fan I want. Having the fan come on and off with my echo device, keeps me from forgetting to turn it off when I leave, saving me money on my electric bill. Love this fan and the led lighting. Highly recommended.

Overall, it a nice fan and connects well to my Alexa. I was replacing an existing fan and this one required a bigger "box" to install. I was able to use at nearby support board. My hope had been to use the same harness. The blades install much easier than other fans I have done (just make sure to "open" the slots before lifting the fan to save hassle). It moves air much better than my older fan. I used the 6 inch down pole (same as previous fan) but the body is "smaller" so the blade barely clear my beam. I should have shopped for an 8 or long, I may change it out in the future.

Works as advertised. Easy to install. Very sleek, powerful, quiet, and integrates nicely with Google home. True 5 out of 5 rating. We used the shorter rod and it fit perfectly on 8 foot ceiling. We replaced an older master bedroom fan that was on its last leg. And the app allows for extensive customization. Can be set on a schedule to slow down or off for the cooler morning hours. Everything we could ask for in a ceiling fan.

The fan is quiet but powerful, the light is bright and customizable. I like that I can control the fan, light, and ambient lighting with Alexa or the remote -- very convenient! This ceiling fan and light was worth the money. We have this fan in our family room (approx 15' x 20') and it does a great job of keeping the room comfortable. I like the versatility with the many fan, light, and ambient light options. It's been a great fit for us. Update: We've had this fan for a while now, and it's very quiet and the most stable fan we've ever owned. I didn't have to put weights on the fan blades to get it balanced. This stays perfectly in balance, no matter what speed I put it on. It's very well engineered. So far, it has worked with Alexa without a hitch... I can turn each feature on/off, set the fan speed, and toggle the lights. Really, the best fan we've ever owned (and we've had quite a few).

I love this fan! It is really easy to use! The app and remote make the fan work really well and with the Alexa feature it’s really nice to come home and say hey Alexa, I’m home and the fan and light turn on. The fan is so easy to install even a caveman can do it. The only complaint I have is the light creates a spotlight effect and doesn’t evenly light up the room. I have gotten used to it and by adding lamps in the darker sections of the room it is much more balanced out. Having all the extra features like changing the RGB colors and brightness of the light really adds an extra ambience to the room. Also, with the added benefit of being a DC motor, it is extremely quiet. I am an extremely light sleeper and having the fan turned on even at Max It is very quiet. I love this fan and I’ll be using it in any future homes I get.

I was on the lookout for a good ceiling fan and was really pleased to find one made by DREO. I also have a floor standing DREO fan and it’s superb so I had no hesitation picking this up. I needed an electrician to install the cabling but from there the installation is relatively easy. The only important thing to remember in UK homes is that this has to be screwed into a joist, the plasterboard ceiling itself is not enough. Just go up into the loft beforehand and locate the nearest joist to the centre of the room and use that. We live in a modern home so the ceilings aren’t that high but once mounted it’s fine. I used the included shorter rod for the installation. Once mounted and powered, the fan works straight away with the excellent included remote. The performance of the fan is flawless, smooth, and best of all very very quiet. I put it on fan speed 1 at night and I honestly can’t hear it but it keeps my skin lovely and cool. The fan speed goes up to 6 with the included remote but can go up to 12 from the DREO app. Speaking of the app this is also great. Plenty of functionality to configure the speeds and lighting. It’s also a smart fan so you can use it with Alexa and Google Home which works perfectly. The fan has one central light which can go very bright but can also be dimmed right down. You can also change the colour temp of it from cold white to warm white and a few shades in between. Around the central light is an RGB ring which again can be configured to all sorts of colours and/or animations. Personally I have this set to a very dim orange and use it as a night light. I am 100% happy with the quality and performance of this fan and would absolutely recommend. In addition, if you are not familiar with DREO you need to check them out. Their fans might look pretty standard but they massively outperform fancy looking fans from companies that charge you much more. Don’t be fooled.

Sehr leiser Deckenventilator. Auf niedrigster Stufe ( genügt sehr oft) überhaupt nicht zu hören. Fernbedienung gut. Die App kann uns bei den Lampeneinstellungen nicht überzeugen. Die Beschreibung der Montage etwas verwirrend. Aber die Montage ist trotzdem kein Problem. Alle Schrauben usw sind dabei. Schade, dass sie nicht auch zwei passende Dübel zu den Schrauben dabei hatten. Der Ventilator startet zuerst schnell und fährt dann auf die eingestellte Stufe runter. Alles in Allem - sehr empfehlenswert.

Es un ventilador completo muy bien empaquetado, el montaje es bastante sencillo y el sistema colocación de las aspas brillante, encajan en un momento , estamos muy contentos con el desempeño, no es nada ruidoso, la vinculación con Alexa es muy sencilla y rápida. Está marca me gusta no la conocía y nos ha encantado, otro detalle importante es que las aspas son de plástico y al no ser madera, no se convaran con el paso del tiempo, como nos ocurre con el otro ventilador de casa.

Amazing smart fan! So I ordered 1 to try out and then proceeded to buy 3 more. I have one in each bedroom. Figured I'm the first to write a review in Canada for this model. I'll start with the only issue I found (and saw a video review indicating the same thing), the hand screws they use to lock the fan blades in place have a minor design issue. The knobs rotate against the metal locking clips as you try and tighten them. You have to force them a bit to ensure they are secure as they rub on the metal. But it does work. Otherwise wow! Simple install, no remote module to try and squish into the canopy gives you lots of room. Everything assembles quite easily. The fan is ultra quiet and only produces wind noise! A significant contrast to the ones they are replacing. Fan has 6 speeds on the remote but 12 in the app or via voice assistant. 6 is the same as 12, it gives you more intervals. Bright light with warmth control and a dimmer plus an ambient RGB ring light. Boxes were beat up by the time they got here. But the parts were well protected and everything was in perfect shape. Only improvements I could see in the future would be to add Matter smart home support, but I'm pretty sure ceiling fans are still being standardized in Matter, so no fault of Dreo. I noticed the RGB options for the ring light are not available in Google Home. Again, more of a Google problem. I did report that to Google.
