I bought this as part of a collection of kitchen implements for my son in his first post graduation home. I bought some that were ‘lifetime’ quality and some - like this knife - that are ‘starter’ quality.This in spite of the fact that his home kitchen activities relate mostly to trips between the freezer and microwave.For the price I was pleasantly surprised with the ‘feel’ of this product, and definitely with the sharpness. Not so much with the heft. It doesn’t feel like the high end knives we keep in our kitchen Wish it could be bundled with a blade guard, even if that would be an additional charge.Definitely an upgrade to the traditional butcher block knife kit he received during the housewarming festivities.

My new chef knife came on time.As expected, this knife is very sharp.Holds an edge well and it's very light weight. Rival's some of the cut co knives in my kitchen. I look forward to many years of use. The customer service is very good on with a fast response time. I added a $1 bill to the photos of the knife, so you could get a size comparison. It's a decent size knife. I would definitely buy another one. You can't go wrong at the price for the quality you get.

This chef knife has a good weight. The handle fits my hand very well and very comfortably.I've chopped watermelon, soft-ish vegetables, harder veg, fruits, meat and so far its gone through everything with barely any work. The blade is sharp-sharp and so far hasn't needed to be honed again.This knife has replaced three in my drawer and has quickly becoming my go-to for most all kitchen choppity sessions.While I normally dig my heels in about paying more than $10 for a knife of any size or style this one is definitely worth the asking price.Very happy with this purchase.
