SAIJI Breathable Laptop Pillow, Ultra Lightweight Lap Desk with Cushion, Computer Pillows for Laptop with Partitioned Storage Bag, Designer Stopper - Lap Pad Fits up to 15.6 Inch Laptops

Expectations: I was looking for a comfortable laptop pillow allowing surfing, news, writing letters and making documents, and light graphics and slideshow work. This laptop pillow is just right. It has enough thickness to avoid looking down, is comfortable for all the time I need and more, and allows my laptop to be ventilated. This it the Goldilocks for me, not too big, not too small, good weight, made well and strong material. I have used it for a couple of weeks, need go no farther.

Yes, it is VERY light weight, and super comfy! It also appears to be well made. Surprisingly, the mesh material on the top does keep the the laptop cool. The "lip" is the main problem. This is the shallow pocket along the lapdesk's bottom edge. If you tuck your laptop into it, it definitely won't be sliding off the lapdesk. However, the touchpad on my laptop extends to its edge, so a bit of it's under the lip. The lip is also too thick. With the laptop tucked under it, the edge of the lip presses uncomfortably into my wrists when typing. The lip is also a problem if you have a number pad on the right of your keypad. Using the lip means that either the lapdesk is only partially on your lap, or you're awkwardly holding your hands to the left to type.See the picture for my solution to these issues. I just pulled up the middle of the lip, and it stays caught there. Won't work if you're lying in bed, and probably not with a rounded edge on your device. I suppose you could also stuff the lip with paper until it's higher than the edge of you laptop.Bottom line: I like it enough that I'm more than ok with the workaround. And, if SAIJI makes a version of this lapdesk that's 2 inches wider, and flatten the lip, I'll buy it in a heartbeat.

My husband is a fidget monster. He was destroying the bean pellet filled type lap desks, going through one a year at least as they broke down inside from movement. Got him one of these and problem is solved. Liked it so much I got one for myself. It raises the ipad to a very comfortable viewing height. May not be great for serious typing. Is lightweight. Had no funny odor. Was clean. Color is not too objectionable.

I love this holds the key board in place and I don’t have to worry about it tipping over

I love it!! It keeps my very prone to overheating laptop cool and keeps my body from getting burned. It raises the laptop nicely for comfortable type. And the front flaps work perfectly to hold my laptop snugly.I have zero issues. Definitely recommend!!!

This is super comfortable and a nice height, but it does not provide enough ventilation for keeping the heat down.

I was so sick and tired of balancing my laptop on my lap. This was a cozy game changer. No going back now.

The cushion is attractive, and well made, but my laptop still gets as hot as it did otherwise. Very disappointed.

This is the second SAIJI lap pillow I have. This one I use and I find it comfy, sturdy and feels smooth on palms and lap.

I had a lot of trouble finding a good replacement for a rather unique laptop rest that was starting to fall apart. This is different but a very worthy replacement. It has a pocket to keep a few items with the laptop. That was important to me and this worked better than I expected. I like it a lot.
