It blends reasonably well, although like any psyllium powder it thickens quite quickly, so it's best to drink it soon after mixing. The powder has a neutral flavour, so it's easy to incorporate into different foods without affecting the taste too much. I bought this psyllium husk powder to help with weight loss by making me feel fuller before meals and it’s really doing the job. I mix it with water about 30 minutes before eating and it definitely helps curb my appetite so I’m not overeating. It mixes easily with water (just stir quickly) and while the taste is a little strange on its own I add a tiny splash of squash and it’s completely manageable. Pros: • Helps reduce hunger before meals • Easy to mix • Only need a small amount • Great natural fibre boost Cons: • Slightly odd taste plain but easily fixed with squash • Can thicken quickly if left sitting too long Verdict: If you’re trying to manage your appetite or add fibre to your diet this is a great product. Just mix and drink it fairly quickly and adding a bit of squash makes it totally fine taste wise. I’ll definitely keep using it as part of my routine.

Psyllium husk is something that I take daily as it keeps everything flowing through my digestive system in a consistent way, with no constipation, which I have become prone towards. With this version, if I sprinkle 3/4 of a teaspoon onto an inch of water in a mug and stir with the spoon handle, it mixes in fairly easily (unlike another brand that I tried). It needs to be drunk ASAP as it quickly gels and I find that even less pleasant than normal. This is the nature of the beast - nothing to do with the brand. Drink it quick and get it done. Then drink a mug-full of water to wash it down and ensure it has enough liquid in the gut. Also, I find that i can do with a little less of this brand than the other, beginning with H … for the same result. I recommend this, especially as the price was comparable at the time of purchase.

Good for fiber, if you have low fiber issue, it works

I bought this because the packaging shows bread rolls, so I assumed it was the right type of psyllium husk for baking. Unfortunately, what arrived was nothing like the product shown. Instead of the light, flaky husk that most low‑carb and gluten‑free recipes rely on, this was an ultra‑fine powder. It behaved completely differently: it turned my bread and rolls purple, which is a known issue with over‑processed psyllium. It also arrived clumpy, and no amount of mixing stopped it from leaving dry, gritty lumps throughout the dough. The listing has plenty of positive reviews, but there isn’t enough detail to understand what you’re actually buying. The picture of bread rolls on the packaging is especially misleading — this product is not suitable for baking in the way most people expect. If you need proper psyllium husk for bread or rolls, this isn’t it.

I do find the powder hard to mix in without ending up with lumps so only three stars. Works best powder first then fluid. I don’t find the taste that pleasant so I won’t buy any more.

Dieses Produkt hat einen festen Platz in meiner glutenfreien Küche gefunden. Zwar löst es sich etwas schwer im Wasser aber mit einem Schneebesen lässt sich das Produkt gut weiterverarbeiten.

No conocia a este producto y la verdad es que sirve para hacer pan con harina de grano sarraceno. Ayuda muchisimo en el proceso de fermentacion/levantar, aun si depende tambien mucho de la calidad de la harina.
