Amazon Basics Outdoor Soccer Goal

For the price this is definitely worth it. The tubes do not fit very snug so the cross bar is a bit flimsy. I do not recommend to be used by adults. I will be using this with our U10 soccer team.Update: 11/5/18, i was able to use this during the summer and it worked perfect, id say better than expected. We practiced tuesdays and thursdays and everyday i would put it together and take it apart. The tubes held together very well even after all the usage we gave it. During a practice i even caught the kids hanging from the cross bar, i was afraid theyd bent it but nothing really happened to it. I highly recommend it to be used by youth teamsUpdate 9/22/2019: its been a year, the goals have been used heavily. I set them up and take them off every practice. Even the kids have learned to set them up. We bought a second one and now play full scrimmages agaisnt orher teams. I still think these a great for the value.

All the pieces came nicely packed with the ends covered in cardboard to prevent any scratching of the paint. The tubes are painted silver and about 1 in diameter and very sturdy. Assembly requires no tools. All of the tubes are numbered and there is a diagram showing the order you put them in and they just snap together. If you want to disassemble it, there's a nice carrying bag so that you can take it to practice.The net secures with little velcro strips and there are plenty of extra included.The goal stood up well with the kids taking shots at it and the stakes kept it in the ground when the ball bounced off of it. It is heavy enough to be sturdy but light enough to put in the bag and carry to practice. It is the only metal 12x6 goal I could find that snaps together and can be brought to soccer practice or disassemble to bring inside at the end of the season I highly recommend it

This was cheap enough that I bought it on a lark for my friend's kids, and it now surprisingly gets a ton of use. While not super sturdy, it is sturdy enough to match what I paid for the thing. You do have to build it yourself (which is fun with pictograms, similar to a noted Swedish chain). The pipes all fit together easily, like a pop-up tent. The net is a bit too small, and the velco fasteners let down the side, being both too small and not enough. So you may need to add a few zip ties, string or your own velco straps to really hang the net properly.That aside, the fun per dollar for this goal is very high, and I wish I bought it sooner.

It’s really easy to put together if you follow the instructions (once you find them in the box). It took 3 of us about 15-20 minutes to put it together. It took longest to put the net on. It’s larger than I expected. My grandson is 5’2” and an avid soccer player. It’s smaller than the regular goals he plays games on but still provides a good practice area. The cons are re: the net because the Velcro straps that hold it on aren’t strong enough. If the ball hits the net too hard they go flying off. You need about double the amount of straps or just use zip ties. Also it already (6 months later) has a rip in it. It would be better if it were made of nylon cord instead of what feels like a cotton cording. The stakes included really holds it in place well though.

My 14 yo plays for a German FC and this was the best size I could find for the price. Received it and was able to put it up myself in no time. Tight net, secure with anchors and doesn’t move really without them. Stays outside in the rain and no rust. Has a great bag to move it but we haven’t taken it on a trip but wouldn’t hesitate after an easy assembly. Shipped to our APO which is rare for so many items we like. Not sure why since it is a US address. Will order a second later this Spring for full field games!

I bought this goal for my 12 year old to practice soccer. The 3 star rating is due to the assembly. The instructions are basically no help. It is a picture of the goal with numbers on each piece. The pieces are easy to fit together but my pieces were numbered wrong. I put it together multiple times before I figured out that the pieces needed to be moved. The Velcro straps don’t work well. I ended up using zip ties to hold the net on the poles. So far it is holding up well.

We have a half an acre and this goal is a great size for the family. Easy to put up and stays in place. Light enough to move if needed. Durable netting, although the Velcro starts do not hold very long. Would recommend zip ties to keep the net in place. Also if your 8 year old decides to swing from the top bar: it WILL bend the bar.

Excellent goal for the price. Very happy kids. Good size for practice for my kids on u10 teams. I think it’s about the same size as those goals. Should last a long time. *** We have been using this for about a week now and it has had a lot of use being new all the kids are excited. Some of the velcro tabs that hold the net to the pole have snapped in the spots were they get the most pressure from the kicks. It can be easily fixed with some zip ties but looks like those will continue to snap in some other places too. We have strong kickers I guess!!
