MWE Gold 850 V3

They had a prebuilt gaming PC that I bought from cyber power. After about five months of owning it, I went to start up one day, and I had zero power. There was no power to the motherboard, no lights would come on, no movement from any of the fans, nothing at all. I went ahead and ordered this power supply to replace the one that came with my PC. It was super easy to route the cables from the motherboard to the backside so that I could keep everything neat and tucked away. The best part about this power supply is that you only have to use the wires that you need, so you don’t have a giant bulk of wire with connections that you don’t even use. The power is super stable and it is powering not only my computer, but my monster GPU, which is an RTX 5060 TI I highly, highly recommend this product. Cooler master has been around for a long time, and I have no doubt in my mind that this thing will continue to power, my monster gaming rig without any issues whatsoever.

This is a decent power supply for a new case that has a lot of fans for cooling. At first all the different power cables were confusing but they got sorted out and plugged into the sockets. I decided to put all the cables on before installing the PS because there just isn't room to do that when there's a warning about getting each cable exactly connected to the PS to avoid issues with overheating or failure. That went well, and then pushing all the cables in to the case first, the included screws attached it to the back in a perfect fit. The Cooler Master MWE Gold 850 V3 features zero rotation until the PS reaches a certain level of current or temperature to save energy, and has a 10 year warranty. The cooling fan is very quiet with special grooved fan blades and seems like a very good choice for this case which is one of those new modern types made of mostly mesh screens that promise super cooling. A quick and easy installation.

I've been using this for a while now, and it's been working perfectly. I'm running two GPUs simultaneously, so it definitely has enough power. Installation was easy, and it came with plenty of long wires to choose from.

hello this product is awesome so far. i have owned this product for almost 2 weeks now and so far it works better then the old unit did. i had a corsair rm650 power supply that i bought in 2020. i bought it along side a coolermaster td500 case. around 2023 when i upgraded my system to the 4070 and 7700x from a 2700 and rx 580. i was having issues with my pc constantly rebooting randomly. one night when i was playing beamng a game that is not really resource intensive i might add. i started hearing crackling sounds. so i turned the system off and when i attempted to reboot the pc nothing happened. i could smell a burning like smell coming from the psu. assuming that my psu had been telling me all along that my pc was failing i decided to take a gamble and bought this unit. i was unsure about coolermaster power supplys as i have always bought corsair units. but with this 10 year warranty i was willing to take a risk plus it has a fancy zero rpm fan so pitch silent when not in use. i have a good feeling that this unit will serve me well hope whoever reads this does not cringe at the long review.

Arrived DOA right out of the box. I noticed right away the box had been taped shut, and then after opening it found the Styrofoam top padding broken in two pieces, cables just shoved in there, and a broken connector clip laying in the box. I grew suspicious but gave the benefit of the doubt and installed it, only to discover it was indeed defective. I tested the same desktop with my 500 watt bench supply I use for testing motherboards and it powered up my pc. End result, faulty supply and a return has been initiated. If you read my review this far remember always trust your gut, if you receive something in similar condition like this, chances are its a reject.

Great power unit, easy install with everything needed. Easy directions if you're not sure about anything.

The connectors were all compatible with my build, and haven't really heard the fan much yet, so overall a good PSU. One thing that set me back is the incompatibility of the PSU's power cable with the power outlets in my country, with it being too weak of a cable(125V max capacity) for the 220V outlet, and got fried pretty quickly after plugging it in. Once I bought a new power cable everything worked just fine so if you need to replace the cable for similar reasons, know you absolutely can and it will be compatible with this PSU.

It’s a good PSU, CoolerMaster is a pretty good brand and I Trusted it to power my 7800X3D and my RTX 5070Ti, in very happy with the results :)

Excelente, aunque los cables se ven un poco delgados en su aliado, funciona genial. Al ser modular permite acomodar todo de una mejor.manera h solo conectar lo indispensable. Excelente marca tengo una de más de 10 operando al 100. Y con este nuevo modelo llevo 1 mes sin problemas. Excelente costo beneficio

Rubbish, better cheaper alternatives

I strongly advise using a FULL MODULAR PSU, like the Cooler Master MWE Gold 850 V3 ATX 3.1 Full Modular PSU. Either way, this is the best value for money PSU. Reliable with good Japanese capacitors. No use spend more on better known brands.
