Review: Works surprisingly well, but doesn't catch absolutely everything - I was surprised how well this worked. I thought the drill would corkscrew more dust out past the little brush thingy inside this dust catcher, but very little came out and almost everything was left trapped inside the container. Traditionally I have used the "envelope" technique to catch brick and plaster dust when drilling masonry – i.e., taping an open envelope beneath the spot where I'm drilling and hoping the dust falls inside. This works reasonably well, but there usually remains some sweeping up required afterwards. With this little plastic collector, although the little brush thingy can be a bit awkward to keep in place while you assemble the gadget and screw the clear container onto the blue base, once assembled it is quite easy to hold this against the wall with one hand whilst you drill the hole with the other. I couldn't also take a picture or video while doing this because I don't have that many hands, but you can hopefully see the results from my photos and video. I am pleased I now have this, and have packed it into my drill box for regular future use. I tested this outdoors, but its primary use will be for indoor DIY of course. Review: Its ok - This catches 60-70% of the dust which helps but don't get expect a clean job. I am glad I bought it though and for its price a handy tool.
