My granddaughter requested this for her birthday and I chose this particular embosser because of the large range of different embossing designs available. It took a while to arrive from China (over two weeks ) but I was kept updated and it was delivered when they said it would be. It's great- very good quality and the embossed design is good and clear. Very easy to use and does exactly what it's supposed to, plus it looks good (I got the gold). It's a great gift for book lovers .

I don’t know much about these products, but my son’s girlfriend absolutely loved this as a gift. She began using it right away and has not said any function issues have arisen. It appears to be of good & solid quality, and I’m told it is good for the price.

Bought this as a gift for my partner not expecting much but i have been pleasantly surprised. The emboss it leaves is very pronounced and leaves absolutely no damage to the page. The stickers look great aswell and its extremely simple to you. I would definitely recommend this for anyone that loves books and wants a personal touch to them.

The plates have to be positioned exactly, or you get a partial print. The plates shift after every 'pressing'. Amount of pressure required is just guesswork but it is a fair amount! ... too little = no result, too much = cut paper.Only successes I had were when pressing down onto a table. Which worked for the foil stickers, but is tricky for books (creased pages). Bought for an 11-year old who can't use it.I had a 20% success rate (at best).Recommendation: Don't bother

I bought 13 of these for my 13 grandchildren. They are all avid readers and absolutely love their personalized embossers. Great quality. I recommend them highly.

I liked the good choice of styles. I went for the gold as I think it was the cheapest option, it’s not something I would keep on display. It took looking at the photos to work out how the two bits fit together. They come flat in a plastic case (well packaged) and take up little space. The secret is to make sure the part with the two discs goes right into the jaw of the other bit and catches on the grooves underneath. Then you have to press reasonably hard.

Stamp is perfect, but disappointing not to receive any stickers to get me started!
