These a great.
I bought 2 to install on In/Out aluminum pipe on heater core I was installing in 2008 Equinox. Unfortunately I could not install on pipe due to no clearance for pipe next to blower housing. You ask, how do I know they work? They work on other water pipe in my home. I had hoped they’d work in car. No clearance.

not a good product
I tried the way of the instructions and it leaked then tighten it the way I thought was good and it leaked. Bought another product and it did not leak.

Treat it gentle
It worked, but beware, your great grandmother could easily break this coupler on her worst day. Takes a one and an eighth and a one and a quarter inch wrench to tighten. Go easy, pull a vacuum and tighten a bit at a time until it holds, then go NO further.

Easy to install.
Used it for the lower pressure A/C line for a 1997 Nissan XE truck. So far so good. It has not leaked thus far. And... it was easy to install.
