Amazing value for money projector
So having bought an Aurzen boom 3 before Xmas for myself, (which is brilliant by the way), I decided I wanted something a little smaller and more portable for taking on trips and back and forth to my girlfriends so I went for this D1 projector as it was really cheap at £120 and looked like it would fit the bill. Like the Boom 3, it was really easy to set up, the power cable is actually better, longer and more stable than the boom, and once you've connected to your wifi off you go. The interface is very similar to it's bigger brother and so easy to sign in and connect to the main apps Netflix, YouTube and Amazon. It's a small unit but it's performance really belies it's size (about 25x20cm). The picture is great being 1080p and the sound, whilst not as loud or bassy as the much bigger Boom is actually great for the size of unit, plenty loud enough and some bass thrown in as well, especially on the Music audio setting. The settings are easy to get into to adjust things as you want them altho the settings out are pretty decent out of the box and the auto keystone correction and focus works great. Overall it's an amazing projector and such brilliant value, especially given it's small size and price. I'm chuffed with it.

Excellent projector with standout customer support.
Really impressed with this projector. The image quality is sharp and vibrant for the size, setup was straightforward, and it’s been great for everyday viewing. I especially love how responsive and precise the LiDAR autofocus is, having trialled other projectors, this one really stands out and offers excellent value for money. The Wi-Fi setup was seamless, with no issues connecting for Wi-Fi–enabled features, and the Bluetooth pairing with my soundbar was instant. No time-consuming setup menus or fiddling around, the UI is genuinely one of the most user-friendly I’ve come across. What really sets this apart, though, is the after-sales support. The customer service team were responsive, polite, and genuinely helpful, handling my query quickly and professionally. It’s reassuring to know the company stands behind the product. Overall, a solid projector backed by excellent support. Happy to recommend.

Cool & Not so cool
Update: It's been a year exactly since I got this and it's broken today. Doesn't start up. Switching off itself when I turn it on. How I can get a replacement as it has years of warranty it seems. I got this one for Auto Focus, Auto Keystone and Dolby Digital sound. I'm impressed for the above options and it's a bit brighter than the cheaper one I have. Positive Points: Autofocus, Auto Keystone, Digital Sound and picture quality. It will automatically adjust to the size of wall by avoiding any obstacles. Negative Points: Many! Sometimes it struggles with Autofocus and Keystone. You have to fiddle around a bit too get it right. Picture and sound quality also depends on produced video quality rather on the device quality. It's really doesn't support 4K. It supports maximum 1080P only even through the HDMI connection from laptop. YouTube app and Amazon supports1080p only. The browser is useless. Many sites doesn't work. It's not android. It has lots of apps which is unnecessary. We can't download the particular browser to install. System didn't really get any updates. Hopefully there will be by the developers. I have to rely on laptop mostly for browsing. Size is a little larger and heavier. I have a cheaper projector with Android 11, WiFi, auto keystone and TV browser. YouTube and Amazon apps plays 4K videos on device itself without the need of HDMI connection to laptop. Browser works perfectly fine. I get the system updates regularly. I'm keeping this projector for the reasons of Autofocus, Keystone, brightness and soundb reasons only. I had it for reduced price about £100/- Can be a bit cheaper as it doesn't support the 4K really and very poor browser. No system updates!

Really great projector
I have had a few projectors over the years, all bought from Amazon, with varied image quality although they all promise to be the best in IQ with unbelievable specs. So, when I bought this, I didn’t have much of an expectation, and you would always take the stated crazy specs with a pinch of salt. BUT, this has pleasantly surprised me. It doesn’t claim to be the best or the brightest or to beat the projectors that cost thousands, but it is just an amazing projector for the price. It is very bright, and if there is a lot of natural light then you might need to bump up the brightness a bit but it is more than sufficient. There are a few presets for the picture mode and I leave it at Movie. There are a few apps like Netflix, Disney+, Prime etc. built in, but I run it off the Firestick through the quality and ease of use are just wonderful. The other thing I wanted to mention was the screen size I have a 132inch screen and the projector sists about 3m from the screen and it really fills the screen, which in my experience is far better than any other projector I have used. The auto keystone correction and auto focus functions work beautifully. You can also set them to do it at startup, but I don’t see the point as once you have calibrated everything then there is no need for it. The remote is just great as you don’t need to point it at the projector and it simply works great. One of the other good things about this projector is that how quiet it is. Usually, projectors at this price tend to be noisy, but not this one. I have a reasonably loud home theatre, but even with the AVR turned off this thing is not at all noisy. Overall, it is an excellent choice for the price and I highly recommend it.

Perfect price to performance ratio
I've tested and owned several Amazon projectors. For the price point this projector is simply outstanding. Fan noise - Not bad or annoying at all, I've heard a lot worse on more expensive projectors. Image quality - it's good, not as super sharp as more expensive models perhaps, (remember more expensive does not guarantee a clearer image or decent motion quality) but the image quality for this projector is pleasant and generally perfectly acceptable. Motion quality - this projector's motion is smooth and pleasant and can handle most demanding fast paced sports or movie scenes. Motion quality is extremely important on a projector and this projector handles that with aplomb. Colour definition and separation - in 95% of images everything is fine. Sometimes you might see it struggle slightly in certain scenes (not uncommon with budget projectors) but what I love is there are times when this projector truly excels and the colours and separation are lush and impressive. Brightness & contract - I'm talking about how bright the light is from the projector to the wall / screen. I wish it were a little brighter if I am honest. In most scenes no problem but grey to dark movie scenes, whilst the blacks are excellent (HDR) there is a occasional dullness that has to be tempered by your realistic expectations at this price point. In summary, I've only had it a day or so, but this little projector has won me over. I paid just over £100 for this projector and in many areas it performs as well, and sometimes better, than more expensive projectors you will find on Amason. It does a whole lot well and is a solid and capable projector. Well done Aurzen!

Very happy
We gave the projector a proper test run at a family do recently, and honestly, it was brilliant. Setting it up was dead easy — no faffing about with HDMI cables because it’s got Netflix built in. Just connect to the Wi-Fi, log in, and you’re good to go. Made life a lot simpler, especially with everything else going on. Another cracking feature is the Bluetooth connection. We hooked it up to a Bluetooth speaker in no time, and the sound was spot on — loud, clear, and much better than what you normally get from built-in speakers. Perfect for a bit of a cinema feel without dragging loads of gear around. The real test was with the kids — we set them up in another room so they could watch films while the adults had a natter. It worked a treat. Picture quality was great, even though the room wasn’t pitch black, and everything streamed smoothly without any buffering. All in all, this a brilliant bit of kit — easy to use, great picture and sound, and perfect for family get-togethers or just a chilled movie night at home. Definitely recommend it.

Potentially a dream home cinema projector
This can be a truly fantastic value for money projector if your prepared to spend a bit on it and some time fiddling but has issues out of the box. Read on. It might be just mine but it had really bad out of focus problem on the left side of the screen when focused. I traced it down to the lens being a loose fit in the projector. If yours has this problem but I'm pretty sure it's just mine then an easy bodge gets a perfect picture. Manually focus lens as far into projector as possibly and put 2 strips of duct tape on top of each other on the right side of projector lens aperture as you look at it so when lens is focused out the tape pushes the side of lens barrel to the side to give a snugger fit and like magic focus is then perfect. Although the on board smart system works well and gives a good picture, there are only a handful of streaming apps. The best thing is to buy a Roku 4k streaming device and plug it into the projector. It makes a massive difference and the picture quality is outstanding. These 2 mods turn an ok projector into a home cinema dream. It really does support 4k and hdr when streaming with the roku. Set contrast to 80, brightness to 45, colour 50, sharpness 15 and prepared to be blown away it really is that good. Contrast is great, blacks are really black and colours are really natural giving a bright sharp, detailed picture. Truly outstanding. Sound from the projector speakers is surprisingly good but connected via Bluetooth to a good soundbar is a massive improvement which leads to another issue. Most times you disconnect the projector from the mains when you plug it in again you have to pair the Bluetooth with soundbar it does not remember it. Auto focus and auto keystone works like a dream though manual adjustments give slight improvements. If your not too fussy then out of the box it's still good but if you invest in a roku 4k and follow the above then you w have a truly wonderful home cinema projector with a stunning picture at a very low price. Despite the mods needed this is the best projector I have ever owned. I was so impressed I invested in a fixed frame 120 inch screen that cost more than the projector but it really is worth it. Very pleased with the result. Fantastic projector
