KEEN Men's Versacore Speed Breathable Vented Comfortable Hiking Shoes

I've encountered several medical issues with my feet and ankles, making the process of finding suitable shoes quite daunting. My left ankle has weakened significantly, and my right heel pad has caused considerable pain, exacerbating balance issues. Admittedly, I've become a fall risk. lolCurrently, I’m wearing Mephisto’s. My experience with Mephisto shoes has been positive in terms of pain relief, but their sneaker options didn't quite meet my aesthetic preferences.Experimenting with various brands like New Balance, Hoka, and Brooks yielded similar results. I've realized I tend to walk with a heavy heel strike, feeling as though my heel bottoms out, especially with softer cushioned shoes. The thicker cushioned shoes caused my ankle to roll. Either shoe may lead my right heel in pain after just a few hours of wear.However, a chance encounter with Keen shoes at a store proved promising. Though initially the waterproof versions have limited in color options, further research revealed another version of this shoe. I decided to give them a try.Upon receiving the Keen shoes, I was pleasantly surprised by the immediate comfort and perfect fit out of the box. The cushioning struck the right balance—firm enough to avoid that sinking feeling yet soft enough for maximum comfort. Additionally, the sole's grip seems promising for addressing potential balance issues. While it's too early to comment on long-term durability, as of now, I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Purchased these for my 17 year old son as a replacement for the discontinued KEEN Men's Nxis Speed Low Height Vented Hiking Shoes. They have a similar feel and look. The blue color is darker than it appears on Amazon, and they look great. My son has a wider foot, but "wide" shoes don't fit him well. Keens have a wider footbed that fit him well without being too wide. He is primarily using these as a day to day shoe while attending high school.

I hiked 100 miles on the AT in these. They were very comfortable and dried quickly. I got blisters, but I don't think that was the shoes' fault.

Shoes were comfortable and seemed like the fit when I tried them on and walked around. Unfortunately I took them out to actually use them as intended and they were not comfortable at all. Running up or down hills my feet where sliding around in the shoes. The tongue needs more cushioning also. When I tried to tighten the laces it hurt too much. If you only intend to walk or run on even ground I think these will be good shoes but I would not recommend them for hiking or trail running. Wish I could return them.

I am a carpenter that needs a shoe that is durable and comfortable. These shoes are the best of both worlds and more traction forward and back than any other shoe. 10 /12 pitch walkable

My out soles have punctures and are missing small chunks of rubber after only 1 hike on moderate technical terrain less than 10 miles. Observe the pic. There is some difference in the sole material and the softer rubber that runs down the middle is just trash. These things will not last. These are not "hiking" shoes, they're sneakers intended for fashion and pavement only. Totally false advertising to market them as a hiking shoe.Before returning these to Amazon as defective, I also tried engaging directly with Keen. I sent multiple emails, filed a warranty claim - radio silence in all instances. They literally ghosted me.So if you want a shoe that will prematurely fail, made by a company that doesn't stand behind their product, these are for you...

Extremely comfortable!

recently purchased the KEEN Mens Versacore Speed Breathable Vented Comfortable Hiking Shoes, and while they have some great features, my overall experience has been a bit disappointing.On the positive side, these shoes truly excel in comfort and breathability. The vented design keeps my feet cool even on long hikes, and the cushioning provides excellent support. The fit is also great, and they feel lightweight, which makes them perfect for all-day wear.However, my main issue is with the durability, specifically the heel side of the shoe. After just a few months of moderate use, the heel started to show significant signs of wear. For the price, I expected these shoes to last much longer. It's disheartening to see such rapid deterioration, especially from a brand like KEEN that is known for quality outdoor gear.Overall, while the KEEN Mens Versacore Speed shoes are comfortable and breathable, the disappointing durability of the heel makes it hard to justify the price. If you're looking for a short-term solution, these might work for you, but if you need something that will last through many hikes, you might want to consider other options.

Hatte mit Wanderschuhen von Keen begonnen und habe jetzt gleich 2x in schwarz und orange die Sneaker gekauft. Top Qualität und Komfort, kein Vergleich zu günstigeren Schuhen, auch nicht der anderen bekannten Marken. Kann also auch generell ich sehr empfehlen 👍🏻

Ich hatte von Keen bereits einen Outdoor Trekking Schuh und fand die super. Diese Trekking/ Laufschuhe sind ebenfalls sehr gut!Top verarbeitet, bequem und robust!Habe sie direkt zusätzlich in orange bestellt.Achtung! Im Wanderschuh hatte ich 41, in diesen Schuhen 42 (evtl. also direkt eine Nummer größer bestellen)Meine Empfehlung 👍🏻

色目は写真よりかなり暗い感じです。それ以前に26.5cmで注文しましたが何か少し大きいと思いサイズを確認すると27cmでした。箱は26.5cm表記。箱に靴が入れられた時点の間違いですので配送に問題なかったかと思いますが残念です。返品手続きしたら26.5cmがないし、、、(TT)
