I had my friendly next door neighbor install this (he had no trouble). I find I use it not just for sitting in the shower -it's primary feature which it does well- but for holing onto when I get in or out of the tub - my shower is located in the tub. It is a great safety feature-

This stool so far is fine, but definitely seems a little wobbly. The design could have been better supported as I am unsure how this will hold up with repeated sitting on it. Right now though it is ok in the shower and I will update if it fails

It was really nice but we had to send it back because we were advised it would not be able to withstand a certain weight over a period of time by just being bolted into the wall.

This shower bench is typical of many available on Amazon. The price is reasonable for a teak bench which is a more desirable wood than bamboo or acacia. This bench definitely smells like teak; I've been in enough Scandanavian furniture stores to recognize the aroma immediately.The assembled bench is sturdy with no wobble or creaking. Assembly was straightforward and took about twenty minutes. A combo hex wrench/Philips head screwdriver is included, but you will need an adjustable wrench to tighten some nuts. Unfortunately, the hardware is zinc plated steel rather than stainless steel and may not be as corrosion resistant.Although the wood is teak, Fumingpal has stained the wood with a red stain. Most teak furniture has a naturally golden to light brown color and this stain makes it look like Rosewood. The stain was obviously sprayed on as there are some lighter areas on the lower shelf where the spray was partially masked off. The wood itself looks rough with a number of scuffs and blemishes that I would not expect with typical teak furniture. Although the bench is perfectly serviceable and in use may get similar scuffs and blemishes, I would not have chosen this particular bench if it was on display in a showroom.Your luck with getting an unscuffed bench may differ and if you like the red stain and want a teak shower bench, this may be of interest to you.

Not very well built, am on my 3rd one, 1st came I defective as the welded pin to keep seat level for you to sit on is terrible, was broke upon arrival, returned refund and ordered another which came broken as well, return refunded and ordered another which came in not broken and has worked for 3 months till the same welded pi broke off from 3 uses of 257 pounds and is rated to 350 pounds. The chair needs folding legs to work correctly and support any weight.
