SCOUT Original Deano Tote - Durable Lightweight Open Top Beach, Pool & Lake Bag, Inside Zip Pocket, Folds Flat

So, so cute! I love the pink and blue and white. It is large and very durable (I had A LOT in it!). When packing for the trip, I put my coffee grinder, kettle, food, coffee beans, etc.. packed it full. So durable and keeps it's shape no matter how full or how not full it is. Didn't lose shape or crack at the handles. The real test was on the beach when the waves came up past our chairs and bag, I had my extra towels and books and paper in it! I held my breath thinking ohhh noooo then felt inside - NO! WATER! AT! ALL! And I will tell you, the waves went up about an inch over the whole bottom of the bag about 3 or 4 times. I am not sure why waves do that every so often, maybe the wind. I wasn't expecting that however I am glad it did happen so I could see how durable and truly waterproof this bag is. Also it was really easy to get the sand off by shaking / rubbing off or since it's waterproof, just rinse the outside! So glad I purchased this. It will make me sad when I have to use the smaller cloth beach bag I got!

Love this bag! Bought it for a beach trip. I appreciate that it is not heavy before it is even filled! The bottom will be great on the sand. Beautiful colors! Seems sturdy and will fold back up after my trip.

I LOVE Scout bags! But I refuse to pay full price, so I bought this on Prime Day. It stays in the back seat of my car with all of my yoga supplies in it (blocks, towels). It's PERFECT! I have the smaller tote and I have the lunch bag from Scout. All fabulous bags. And the print! GORGEOUS! This bag is sturdy, waterproof, and a wonderful size for my needs.

I love my scout bags. My only issues are the price and that they're slightly heavy which adds weight to whatever I'm carrying. The quality is great. Very versatile for shopping, beach or the pool. We even use it while traveling. The zipper works well. Great quality material.

FLORIDIAN REVIEW: Beach & pool are weekly right now during the summer, this bag is used multiple times a week! Got this bag over the Bogg because of storage reasons AND wanted a sturdy bag great for travel. ALSO ordered all the other sizes from Scout and decided this size was perfect. Not too big not too small but I’d LOVE some of the features from their other bags (zippered closure, front pockets, bigger inside pocket preferably clear). Folds down great to fit right on top of our stuff in our checked bag for travel. Dries fast, water resistant and HUGE. Got our picnic blanket, a lunch box, water bottles, wet bag with extra clothes/diapers, etc. all in this bag. GREAT. Family of 4-5 this fits everything great! I use Turkish towels. Attach a caribiner for the water bottles and strap the kids floaties on. But it loses its shape- it almost bows out because of so much in it. The bottom stays sturdy but I wanted a bag sturdy enough to not let the items inside dictate how it holds itself. Also, the lip at the top of the bag prevents it from being *easily* cleaned. Why is it there? Can it be sewed shut? Getting sand out of the bag isn’t as easy as dumping it upside down. And even then, you won’t get all of it unless you vacuum it out. I hope scout sees this and creates the perfect in between bag!

I got these to use a grocery bags about 2 months ago, and have used them for so much more. I bought 3, and plan to buy one more. 4 would have been perfect for my needs. (Plus 2 more for my mother-in-law for Xmas) They are big! And sturdy! I keep them in the back of the car so I can take them inside the grocery store at a moments notice or do curbside pickup and they load the stuff in them for me. And they hold a lot of weight! One bag holds the volume 4-6 grocery bags would. It seems I am limited only by my strength to lift not what the bag is willing and able to carry. To the beach: I have fit a feast of a picnic in one and 7 towels and 7 water bottles in the other for an outing to the beach with my kids and their friends. To the post office: I holds several to medium packages to haul off to mail. For travel: One held two full size pillows a throw and a stuffy! In the car: When we go to the carwash the kids can quickly throw all their toys bookbags and junk that litters the van into one so it can be set aside while we vacuum then taken inside the house where it belongs after we return home. When they get yucky I just use a wet cloth or baby wipe and voila, good as new. Definitely recommend.

i like it. I was expecting a different material, but i still like it. it looks beautiful and holds all my stuff so far it’s kept its shape.
