nice set--works well
This wooden peg/drop box set works pretty well! I bought it for my younger child to use, but my older one likes it as well. The box and pegs felt like they were made well. The wood on them was nice and smooth (with no splinters in sight) which was my initial concern, since I think this came from out of the U.S. and the pegs drop into the box once the lever is pushed in quite easily. The little boards with the numbers and slots for the pegs were a bit thinly made, but they still felt like they'd hold up pretty well to being used over and over by little's. I think the only critique I have for this set was that the outside packaging was a little faded and beat up and the box it came packaged in smelt like funny chemicals, however the set itself smelt fine-- so I guess it just had a rough journey.

Not as well made as I hoped
I have mixed feelings about this toy overall. It looks just as pictured and the wood on the bottom is good quality. The pegs themselves have me questioning how long it may last with rigorous child play because 2 of them came apart and had to be glued back together within the first 5 minutes out of the box. This is not a huge issue for me, but I had gotten this to eventually give it to my daughters daycare classroom and now I can't decide if it would hold up. The pegs also appear dirty in places and I can't tell if its just the way it was made or if it is actually dirty somehow. There are 3 cards that are double sided that you can lay over the wood with patterns on them and it encourages children to lay the pegs in a certain pattern and my kids really enjoyed this aspect. So if the pegs were better constructed and new looking I would have given this 5 stars. I am going to give this a 4 because its probably a 3.5 and I would still recommend it. I hope I just got a wonky box because my kids have a lot of fun with it.

Fun for our 2 yr old toddler
This keeps our toddler busy for about 20 min. She likes the colors. They are easy for her to grasp and stack, good for learning gross and fine motor skills. We’re fans!

This Wooden Counting Peg Board is a wonderful Montessori learning toy for toddlers and beyond. This toy encourages counting skills as well as fine motor skills. I love the smooth, sturdy wood and thick number cards.

Cute
Cute toy. My biggest downside is that the pegs are plastic. I was hoping for an all wooden toy. Easy to peg, move and stack. Comes with patterns you can allay across the board and copy. My 1 year old enjoys it.

Toddler + Preschool Kiddo’s new favorite toy
I bought this for my newly 2 year old, he was sucked in and it occupied him for a good 20 minutes before my newly 4 year old realized there was a new toy and wanted in :PFor a two year old - AMAZING toy for coordination, color matching, counting, stacking, following instructions. He had so much fun with it and I can see how he will continue to play and grow with it.For a four year old - amazing toy for learning to take turns, share, following instructions, dexterity…really impressed that it also entertained him for as long as it did!

Misleading description
We have other Curious Crate toys, which we love - but we were disappointed with this peg board. Although the title and description mention a wooden board, the pegs themselves are not wood; rather they are a cheap-feeling plastic. The concept is great with the ability to match, create patterns and stack; but the pegs are wobbly when stacked. I expected sturdy wooden pegs, so I sadly cannot recommend this particular toy.
