Great Big Value. Great. Big Knife!
I now have 10 Efengrow knives. Each new one just boggles my mind. How do they do it? The quality D2 steel is subdued by the matte finish that really works on this wide flat ground knife. Let me clear up a common misunderstanding, flat ground means that the bevel from the back all the way to about a 16th of an inch to the end. There is a single bevel (see micro-bevel) that defines the actual cutting edge. The fit and finish are superbwith nice beveling or chamforing all along the inside of the liners. Real quality indicator. This beefy beaut flips open effortlessly with a distinctly loud THWOK. The blade profile is Bushcraft all the way. Nice fat belly but yet slices like a dream. Finally, the blade finish is stonewashed with slightly irregular faces that hide scratches and smudges well. Non reflective blade with grippy scales. The color (brown is cool) matched spacer is slightly proud of the back liners giving a nice curved tool conforming perfectly with your hand. It's a big knife, but the feel in hand is very powerful. The half pommel locks into the thumb notch like a glove further securing the grip. Finally, the in-pocket feel is crowded and will have you reachin for the suspenders to keep from saggin. But that incredible feeling of perfect ergos makes the chiropractic downside seem minor.

A VERY Nice Knife at any price!
I am VERY impressed with this knife. First the box is a black presentation box much like many Boker knives I have purchased over the years. If you are giving this knife as a gift the box itself will give the first great impression. But that is just priming you for the best part, the knife itself. I is in a plastic protective bag and before you take it out you can feel the weight of it, it is hefty. Taking it out you immediately get the look and feel of quality. The scales have a unique wood grain pattern and a good grip. The blade is heavy and when you flip it out it is smooth it snicks open and the liner lock sets. It opens as smoothly and easily as any knife I have no matter what the price! The liner on the non-lock side is skeletonized and the blade is perfectly centered. The flipper is curved back at the choil giving you a quillion of sorts, a nice touch. The grind is perfect, best I have ever seen on a chinese knife and better than some US made knives. It is quite sharp.Cons? Well the pocket clip is only in one position, but that is the only down side I see. This knife is a winner, for $35 you cannot go wrong.

Very nice knife
I am very impressed with this knife, let me say I have been making fixed blade knives and swords for 10 years now. I do not make folders hence the perchase. I bought the knife for the steel but the entire knife is very good quality, remember this is a 35 dollar knife. Blade centering is perfect, presentation is smooth and the lockup is solid. Fit and finish is very good, the bevels are symmetrical and the final grind is smooth with no striations, it's shaving sharp out of the box. The scales are finished very well and feel good in the hand. The only issue I have with the knife is the liner lock itself, I would like to see more of the lock in gage the tang of the blade, it seats right on the edge I would feel better if it were centered on the tang, I feel that under normal use it should be fine though. This knife is definitely worth the money and probably twice that, time will tell

Great steel, acceptable quality, built like a tank.
The budget folder to end all folders? I think so.It's not much to look at but it functions the same as any other knife. The difference is in the steel and price.I'm not qualified to tell you if this is real D2 steel or not but it sure does sharpen and hold an edge like my other D2 knives do. I can tell you for sure it's not AUS-8 or another cheap stainless you find in other budget folders. It is on the heavy side but but I mean does that really bother people that much? I mean, I weigh like 160lbs and I barley even notice it's in my pocket, not to mention I actually prefer a heavier knife when it's in my hand and being used. Some of its features are a little rough. The handle is nothing special but not ugly and the opening mechanism is far from smooth but it's deploys quickly and locks with a affirming and surprisingly satisfying "click".As a tradesman (Electrician) I've been through many budget knives. There's always something to cut and wire to skin out there in the field and I misplace my knives often. Going through so many knives I've learned what makes a good, dependable knife and this checks all of my boxes for what I look for when I need a dependable knife that will hold up to my demanding needs.Prior to this knife the Ontario RAT and Utilitac were my go to knives and while they have more polished features and a more appealing design (marginally) the D2 steel and heavy duty construction of the CH3504 will win you over and you will wonder why you left this in your wishlist for so long.Pull the trigger on this knife, you'll love it.

This is now my favorite carry knife.
I've got Benchmades, which are nice, but expensive for EDC. This knife is large, but comfortable. The fliipper opening makes it easier to use than more expensive knives. The main screw for the blade can work itself loose, but it's not a big deal. The blade is sharp and holds an edge well enough. It's a great deal and you don't need to baby it like more expensive knives. Sturdy and comfortable, works well.
