had a painful wrist due to my job, every now and again the wrist gets painful. using this really helps, the quality is really good and Ive had it for several months and I would say its tight enough to give the wrist support.

I don't have a permanent wrist problem but I sometimes injure my wrist through carelessness. Mostly it is just a sprain or over stretching. I thought I would get these for the next time I do something silly.The manufacturer has not tried to economise by a one size fits all approach; there are 3 sizes to choose from. I have slim wrists and chose the small size which fitted very well. The bands were comfortably rather than unpleasantly tight. I was very quickly aware of the supporting pressure around my wrists. The pressure remained constant as I moved by hands.Having tried the wraps, I would now use them for preventing injury rather than recovery. A classic example being when I am cutting the hedge with a heavy extending trimmer. These are really comfortable wrist supports, even though they are tight, the choice of material used counteracts that. The seams of the stitching inside don't poke into the skin even after extended wear and I like the funky design, different to the usual drab black or 'skin' coloured varieties on offer.As a bonus, they could even double up as wristbands for those sweaty activities if you so wish.
