These floating candles look very cool once hung up! They all seem to work well and the flickering light makes these look like real candles. I ordered the ones with the remote wand which I highly recommend. Because you can turn them off and on with just one touch of a button. The ones without the remote will have to be manually turned off one by one, which can be quite a pain since you hang them from the ceiling. So definitely pay the few extra bucks for the ones with the remote. It’s definitely worth it. I do however have two downsides to these candles. 1. They use A TON of batteries! Each candle requires 2 AA batteries each and the remote wand requires 1 AA battery. So you will need to have 25 batteries which are not included. 2. The string that they give you to hang these is super thin and it is very difficult to tie these up because it is so thin that it is very hard to work with. However it does appear to be quite strong which is a good thing. Definitely not a deal breaker, but it took me a good hour just to get them all tied up. Overall the downsides do not outweigh the positives because these really add a very cool floating candle effect which will be perfect for my upcoming Halloween party. I definitely recommend these floating candles if you want to add a really cool effect to your Halloween or Harry Potter display! Just remember to purchase plenty of batteries and be prepared to take some time to tie them up as this part can be quite tedious especially because the string is so thin you can barely see it.

These were a lot to hang, and you need 24 or 26 AA batteries to go with this, just an FYI. I will say, once all of that is complete, I absolutely love them. They are on my front porch. I keep them on all the time (even when we were in negative Fahrenheit temperatures. They still work. I've had them up since the end of October and they are still going strong. Very durable, even with windy temps (I live very near to the Detroit river separating Michigan from Canada, so winds can be quite high. I love the flickering effect the candles have. It seems like they are truly floating candles. The wand works well, unless you have something solid blocking the path from wand to candle, so no spells through walls, but it does work through windows. I am well versed on the Lumos and Nox spells now.

We absolutely love these especially when you have a storm and your power goes out. It lights up your whole room enough where you can see. They look really cool and my daughter feels like she's part of Harry Potter. They're very sturdy. The size are perfect. They're really easy to install. Depend on how long you lead them on and what type of batteries you use. They last quite a while.

I hung these in my office and initially really loved them. They have a solid state and a flickering state which makes it look more like a real candle. The hooks were easy to install but now the problem is that they stick too well to my ceiling and the bottom of my shelves. I dare not try to remove them and damage my shelves. I’m going to have to cut the strings and leave the hooks, which I’m not happy about, because the loop is very difficult to thread if you’re not holding it in your hand. The other thing I wasn’t keen on was the battery life. The battery life on these candles is abysmal. Mine are not lasting longer than about 10 hours of use. I probably would not purchase it again just because of this.

These require batteries in each one. The string is very difficult to see making the process of tying them up difficult. Be careful. They come with super sticky adhesive dots, so sticky it took the paint off my ceiling. They are pretty cool once they get assembled and strung up. Plan ahead for assembly and stringing up, it takes some time.

Honestly, I was worried at first with how iffy the reviews were but I wasn’t disappointed at all. Just be prepared to spend about another $20 on AAA Batteries. And outta all 20 candles, only one didnt work. The wand is a little cheap looking, but easy to store and use, plus adds to the whole effect. The lighting surprisingly is a really nice and perfect color and brightness. Not too bright, not too dim. I highly recommend if you want a cozy and magical vibe in your room. The sticky pads included are great and strong as well!

These are amazing! It truly makes a birthday party feel magical. The size was great to hang below a chandelier. The strings are a little fragile, but they still worked fine. The remote control is awesome.
