The shoes arrived promptly, well boxed and fitted as expected.I've only worn them for one 18-hole round, and they were very comfortable and provided excellent grip in hard, dry conditions. The soles have a robust and deep grip pattern, but this is not in the usual circular stud format of most golf shoes. In fact they look like robust trainers with a hard and deep grip pattern on the sole. I'm not fussy about these things, and like the shoe, but I could envisage a golf club purest arguing whether they were really golf shoes or not......In fact (a seond pair) could be used for countryside/parkland walks. At the price they seem good value. I haven't tried them in wet conditions, but then again I don't think many golf shoes are truly waterproof in very wet winter conditions.

Good looking, good fitting and very comfortable. Great price. Don't have ventication so can get quite heated so recommend absorbant socks

These have only had a couple of outings so far, but appear to be very well made and comfortable. They look very smart.

Quick delivery. Well packaged. Wore them today (size 9.5). A good comfortable fit even with 2 thin pairs of socks (just in case). The shoes didn't rub anywhere which was great.They didn't feel heavy when wearing them in the dry, and although the top of the shoes looked pretty well soaked, my feet stayed dry throughout 3 fairly heavy rain showers during the round. Good grip in the rain so I couldn't even blame them for the poor shots! I would reccomend them, and for £25 they are a great bargain at the price. My playing partner had a brand new popular brand 'trainer' style golf shoe and he reported they rubbed his ankle/achilles heel fairly severely.

Size ordered (11) fitted as per length but shoe was too narrow to wear, even taking into account future stretching, so returned them for refund. Never had this problem in ordinary shoes/golf/trainers. No problems doing this. Should also say that they weighed almost the same as a normal studded leather pair of traditional golf shoes, so not lightweight for travel purposes. To be fair, the online description did not say they were lightweight, but just so you know.... They did look good & sturdy.

Excellent value for money and they were a very comfortable fit even though I have wide feet. Whilst it wasn't a real problem, I feel they could ideally benefit with a little more cushioning on the sole. I have now put an insole in them for my next round for even more comfort. Went looking for balls in very long wet grass which was boggy underneath and my feet remained dry, so should prove an excellent waterproof light shoe for summer golf. As an added bonus they look very smart as well. Very pleased with my purchase and they arrived very promptly before the estimated delivery date.

Shoes arrived promptly. Comfortable, smart and a good fit. First outing was on wet grass and my feet were wet five holes in. Contacted Sports HQ advising of the problem. Nick Warren responded on the same day, Sunday by the way. I was immediately offered replacement shoes or my money back. First class customer service. Nick reckonded I had been unlucky with the product. However after an exchange of amiable e-mails, I decided to keep the shoes, based on comfort and fit, and bought a spray can of waterproofing. First light application brought an improvement. Second application for yesterday's comp was a success on a very wet day, overhead and underfoot. Dry feet! By the way, Nick offered a reasonable partial refund without me asking. Sports HQ deserve 5 stars but the product 3 1/2 stars.

I bought these for Summer golf as my club would require spikes during winter. Comfortable straight out of the box, no breaking-in period. Suitable grip on surface, and really lightweight; but not flimsy. Sizing is true and are suitable for my slightly wide feet. Toe space is good, leaving ample room.
