I love my clock! I don’t use the alarm so won’t rate that, but love the style and the fact that the dial glows subtly in the dark. Buying another for a gift!

The media could not be loaded.  So I use it to get up every morning it has a very loud sound, it glows in the dark it has a light, easy to set up (it's only 12 hours so it will ring am and pm unless you turn it off every morning and turn it on at night.

This clock does exactly what I wanted it to. It sounds an alarm loud enough to wake up the dead!! It is easy to operate and it keeps good time. It has my recommendation.23 August 2024

I really live this clock. I need a loud alarm and this is. Runs on AA batteries, and if it's in light the dial lights up at night. Also has a button you can push for light.

It will keep ringing for 45 minutes. So you’ll want to shut it off each time. Amazingly loud, which is what I wanted. Battery operated only of course. Miss the old wind ups

The media could not be loaded.  This clock is lovely and keeps time really well. It comes with its own battery which is handy, and easy enough to install. Changing the time to represent the clocks correct time is really easy to do, and setting the alarm is also really to do. The alarm is loud, but not over baring, and gives off the old original alarm clock vibe when it goes off. The clock face glows up in the dark, spending on how much light (natural or artificially blight) the clock has had prior to the sun going down outside, which means you don’t have to turn the light on to check the time our during the night which is mega handy. Currently retailing at £12.99, which is great value for money for this cock.

The media could not be loaded.  UPDATE 28/08/2023 I have no choice but to edit my review. I had given the clock 5* review when I reviewed last. However since gone down in stars. The issue, the mechanism within the clock is very very cheap, the outside looks lovely. Since having, the clock loses time. I do not mean a few minutes either. Since the 8th of August in two weeks it has lost five minutes, then 10 minutes. In the past week, every day loses half an hour, I have never known a clock in my life lose half an hour. To help people that maybe thinking of buying, please do not waste your money. It’s such a shame, because I did love the clock, but it isn’t good losing 30 minutes and never being the right time. If you require a 0700 alarm set, you cannot set the alarm until 7pm at night, as the alarm recognises 0700 - 1900 as the same time. Also you will manually need to set alarms every day like this.Turning the alarm on is on the back of the clock, a typical on/off switch.There is not anything hard, and it is simple to work, which would be great for the elderly, as analogue is what people will be used too.I love the clock, gorgeous design, practical and would make a lovely gift.⭐️Thank you to the seller⭐️I hope my review helps you

A cool-looking retro-style vintage alarm clock. Very easy to read and feels very strong and sturdy. The sound of the loud alarm is way too loud and can not be used in a civil environment. Feels like an alarm for the army or in the jungle.

A really nice looking clock, looks so cute on my bedside cabinet.All metal construction which I love because you don’t expect that today at this price point, with a beautiful gun metal finish.It’s a quartz clock so keeps accurate time and operates completely smoothly and silently.The alarm bells are quite loud, certainly loud enough to wake you in the morning but not obnoxiously loud.It’s been a long time since I’ve heard an alarm clock make an actual mechanical ring sound but it’s a beautiful sound that reminds me of my childhood when these types of clocks were common place.It stands approximately 6 and half inches in height and 4 and a half inches in width, 2 and a quarter inches in depth.In today’s world where we all use our phones as alarm clocks I’ve been missing having an actual clock I can peer at in the night instead of reaching for my phone.I didn’t want a digital clock as I don’t want the glare disturbing my sleep.This lovely little clock sits by my bed glowing in the night like an old friend patiently waiting to wake me with a cheerful ring in the morning.Am I being nostalgic? Yes! But what’s wrong with nostalgia if it brightens your day.The clock has a convenient light incase the glow doesn’t last until morning but I’ve found it does.Like all clocks of this type the alarm is not to the millisecond precise, often ringing 1 minutes either side of the hour you set it but that’s part of its charm.If you want to boil an egg don’t use this clock get an egg timer but if you want to be woken up to a lovely ring, ringing in the start of a new day at approximately the time you set with a 1 minute margin either side this is the clock for you.It’s operates on one AA battery so is power cut proof and unlike everything these days doesn’t require charging or another usb socket.It came in a nice little box with instructions and a battery included.I love it! It’s beautiful and charming with bags of character, another reason not to look at my phone.The clock is advertised for children, well I’m 47.. maybe I’m just big kid at heart.Well worth the money, no regrets on getting this clock.
