I ordered this Stainless Steel Extendable shower curtain rod (tension pole) in black. To be honest, I didn't intend to use it as a curtain rod, I have two at the top of a long fitted wardrobe, and they are providing some extra storage space as I am resting things on them. DOn't get me wrong, although they are strong, this isn't their intended purpose, but now I can balance a selection of boxed soft toys and Christmas decorations above them, meaning all the clutter has gone below.Assembling the curtain rod was easy and it only took a few minutes. The tension part has a reassuring bounce. Because it fills a daily long space in cupboard, it was a bit tricky to install with one person, two was an absolute doddle. The pole is stainless steel and I believe it is strong and up to the job.We're not using one of the extension inserts but have kept it in the cupboard should we ever move or decide to repurpose it.Five stars

No problems or complaints with this at all. I found it really easy to fit snuggly along the length of the bath and it really does stay put. It looks great and is very easy to clean - just a damp cloth dragged the length of the rail does the job. Very good value for the price!

I personally have not used this as a shower rail but I have used it as a drying rail. Outside our house we have a covered veranda at the rear which has proved to be invaluable for a number of things and one of which has been for drying washing in wet weather. This pole has been used for that as it's strong and sturdy and being black, not so obvious when hot in use. Ideal for washing and drying item's that cannot go through a spin cycle on the washing machine like hoodies and jackets. Easy to erect and strong enough to stay in situ.

The rod comes with 5 poles. 2 are for the ends only while the other 3 are to provide course adjustment for the width needed.To assemble you simply screw the rods together ensuring you use the 2 special end pieces. Then you fit the stopper bits onto each, noting they fit specific ends due to the different diameters. Finally you line up where you want the rod and turn one end to quickly adjust and tighten against the wall.In practice this is all good and I found it held up well. The nature of the design with the threads between each rod does mean the curtain rings don't slide smoothly along the rod but they are only subtle and don't get snagged at all. If you are looking for smooth lines then you might want to look at a custom fit, however if you are looking for a telescopic one that can be moved around / taken down then this works well. The rubber ends help protect your wall and also provides grip too.The only bit that was a shame was the ends being made of plastic but for the price point I can't complain.

This one does not disappoint. It is very strong and sturdy, yet can be assembled and installed without any tools - a remarkable design achievement.It arrives in a compact box just 43 x 9 x 6 cm and the tubes need to be screwed together to get the right length for your installation. When the pieces screwed together are too long for the install situation, just remove one tube, making sure the end pieces with rubber grips are at both ends, on the two tubes that look different from the centre extension pieces. Then simply unscrew the extendable tube until it is a few cm longer than your wall gap. When you compress the extendable tube you can move it into its final position and the spring holds it in place.I found I could install this easily, and it helps to test install at low level before trying to do it at full height - and measure the length of your shower curtain too, so you can choose the right height to install it.When I put the shower curtain on, I noticed that the curtain hooks do catch slightly on the ridges on the rail tubes - I avoided this being an issue by making sure I was not pulling down on the curtain whilst pulling it across. The rail has been strong and sturdy in use, with no suggestion of it coming loose at any time.I think this product creates opportunities for use by so many people who cannot use tools to install, or renters who cannot drill holes etc so it is a recommended product which I rate five stars. At around £13 at the time of review it is also good value for money.

The media could not be loaded. Considering the cheap price, this is pretty decent quality, though it has its quirks.It's stable and doesn't move around a lot as you can see in my video. No weird noises either. It's super easy to put up and also take apart or adjust when needed. If you're looking for inexpensive telescopic curtain rod, this might be what you're looking for.Only notable thing is that one of the ends came disfigured and it can't be fixed. However it doesn't impact the product itself; the place where it's slotted goes so far in it doesn't matter whether you have couple millimeters of extra space in there.The wavy section on the contact point also makes curtain rings get a bit stuck to it so you need to help with adjusting it.But I think both of these are just minor inconveniences, considering the really cheap price.

Used for hanging school uniforms in utility area. Holds a good amount. Easy to fit just by twisting. I did add a small piece of wood under each side just for piece of mind as hanging heavy clothes. Very happy with item
