NYX Professional Makeup Velvet Matte Lipstick, Beach Casual, 0.14 Ounce

I love these Nyx lipsticks. They are such a bargain for what you get. I bought effervescent for less than $5 and the color lasts and feels good on my lips.The effervescent is a white based color and looks very bright on my pale warm skin tone. In my pics you can see the effervescent (left) compared to the Nyx matte in Audrey. The effervescent has a bit of a warmer undertone compared to the Audrey which has blue undertones. Nevertheless the effervescent still looks super bright and cool toned on my skin. It’s hard for me to tell the difference but my husband instantly liked the effervescent better than Audrey.

I have several of these velvet mattes from nyx. Love the product! It's very dry though.... it's a true matte. It sounds like a lot of the bad reviews were from people who weren't expecting it to be dry or did not exfoliate their lips first. On exfoliated, moisturize lips, this is a true matte color that will last many hours. I ordered soft femme here and it was a bit darker than I was expecting. It's a nice color but was hoping for more of a nude. I'm fair-skinned with cool undertones.

I got the unicorn fur. It's a bright pink color in person. It goes on pretty smooth and it does last a long time without having to reapply.

Goes on nicely, only lasts a couple hours if I don’t eat anything... nice color tho.

Beautiful. I use this for my Abbacchio cosplay. It's a bit darker than pictured but that's to be expected with any lipstick.

The lipstick arrived very quickly. It was a very pretty shade. I didn't like the way it felt on my lips. Way too drying for me. It didn't seem to stay on any better than other lipsticks either. I gave it to my sister and she wears it.

This was a dupe for Cheryl Blossom’s lipstick from Riverdale. Way cheaper than the Mac version she wears & looks exactly the same. As a redhead with pale @ss skin, I can finally wear a red listick & not look like a clown.

The only reason I gave this a four-star opposed to a five was because of the price. I have purchased this lipstick brand for under eight dollars several times. These purchases were 11. I think that’s overpriced. With that side I love this lipstick.

Terrific Value, Wonderful shade ... and most of their shades are truly contemporary and 'now'. feel nice on the lips. I always use NYX lipstick nowadays, and they are every bit as good as the tres expensive product ... with great colour range. Long lasting from matte to normal finish. Gorgeous. Thankyou

I was not sure how this colour (Unicorn Fur) would look on fair skin but at such a low price, you can afford to take some risks. I really like it now that tried it but the formula is drying. The photo I took doesn’t really do it justice as far as how it looks on. The colour payoff is really good here as these lipsticks are very opaque without looking like they’re meant for children. I’ll definitely be trying more of these.

I usually really like this brand but this lipstick is not the colour it claims to be. It still looks nice, and I’ll continue to use it but it’s more like a purple colour. I purchased it hoping for a brown, Nude look, but it’s definitely more like a weird purple colour, which is nice, but not what I was looking for.

I think it may be faulty or Counterfeit? Made my lips sore & I noticed I only paid £2.09 for it and seems too cheap to be true.After 2 days my lips started getting really sore & still bad 5 days later
