Microsoft Train Simulator (PC CD)

Great sim. Well presented. Decent information about different type of locomotives. Modding community stil releases new content for it.

this was a purchase for my young soon, he is delighted with the game, it arrived with in the time started and was great value for money

I am an unashamed train sim fan since before year One - 2001. This iconic train simulator has been around the block and has had a continued loyal user base since it was released. Microsoft abandoned it after a couple of minor update patches, the last in 2002. Two later versions were canned by MS, who was at that time turning up its nose at PC 'game' software in favour of the awful proprietory XBox. MSTS is dated and can be flakey, yet despite the shortcomings, it's well into its second decade - no doubt confounding its original developers.

This is an old programme which has difficulty in getting used to modern computers. There were a lot of glitches but eventually, with we help, I managed to get it going.

Sorry to all MSTS fans, but my son has been unable to play with it. To start with, we had many many problems installing the thing. After we managed to install it, it became apparent that it was really complicated to play with. A month later, we bought Trainz 2006 which has been an unlimited source of fun for my son. He is able to play with his Thomas the tank engine characters for hours on end. To give MSTS some justice I have to say that it would mostly suit adult players with interest in railways and advanced computer skills.

Does not work on Windows 8

I first bought this programme some 12-15 years ago so I knew what to expect! I have successfully loaded it onto my laptop running Win 7 Pro and I am delighted to say that it runs 'seamlessly'! Many thanks to the seller and, of course, Amazon!

Ideal for installing the basic MST1. No manual's as provided with original version but has all the information in the HELP file. Value for money.

Arrived well ahead of schedule. Item is in as new condition. Not a single mark on any disc and runs very as Microsoft intended. Would definitely purchase from this seller again.

Il gioco non funziona neppure su xp se non si caricano dei files suggeriti dai forum e non sulla confezione. Per gli scenari stessa trafila
