If you have an extra-large mosquito or flying insect problem, the DynaTrap XL Mosquito and Insect Trap delivers three layers of powerful protection. First, a UV fluorescent bulb generates a warm light, attracting insects. Then a second lure, an exclusive Ti02 titanium dioxide-coated surface, produces CO2 that's irresistible to mosquitoes. Third, a powerful yet whisper-quiet vacuum fan sucks insects into the retaining cage where they dehydrate and die. Empty the retaining cage every 1-2 weeks and replace the UV Bulb every 4 months or 3000 hours. Durable, all-weather construction for dependable protection. The DynaTrap XL Mosquito and Insect Trap provides up to 1 acre of effective coverage. To maximize your coverage, the trap can be placed on a flat surface or hung from a hook.

They created a need for future light bulb purchases.
The actual product seems like a good idea. However it doesn’t work. It’s been going 24/7 in our backyard for well over a year. I’ve had to replace the bulbs 4 times. Which is one of the most frustrating things to do because it’s so poorly designed. I am an extremely mechanically inclined engineer with long strong fingers. I assemble complicated mechanisms every day. If I cannot change these bulbs with ease then the design is absolute garbage. I have never emptied the basket in 17 months because there is barely a 1/8” layer of dead bugs in it. And mostly moths not mosquitoes. I’ve followed the instructions perfectly and it has done nothing but force me to keep buying bulbs. Kudos to them for designing a money making product.

WONDERFUL
I have just over one acre of land, and this is the perfect size to keep the bugs away. All I had to do was plug it in and watch it work. Cleaned it out after about 5 days and I was almost grossed out at the amount of bugs it had collected but, it was so perfect I plan on using it again this summer.

Finally a Product That Works as advertised
Advertised to eliminate mosquito problem and it really has worked to virtually eliminate the swarms of mosquitoes on my patio and we can finally utilize our patio comfortably in the evening. I prefer this to the mosquito zappers since it is so quiet and just has a pleasant blue light and quiet fan that attracts and then traps pesky flying mosquitoes.

Attracts a lot of bugs
Heard this worked great and honestly because the mosquitos were so bad this summer not sure anything could have worked better. The bulb went out after about 2 months of use. I feel the bulb should have lasted longer hence 4 stars. Will need to replace before next spring. Looking forward to using it next summer!

Mosquito control
With all the rain we have had the mosquitos are bad. This has really helped ! We have not been swarmed every time we walk out the door.

Worth it.
This thing catches any flying insects. It didn’t totally keep the mosquitoes at bay but it does cut way down them to where we only saw one or two around us versus being swarmed.

Love this bug catcher
I have two of these dynatraps - one in front yard and one in back yard. Keeps moths, mosquitoes, flying Beatles, and other annoying insects in check. I just wish it would catch wasps.
