Super strong
I ordered 2 and they are really strong, they held up to full strength swings and even hitting trees. The designs have not come off when using them harshlyHowever the guard is more brittle and one of the two broke due to a direct hit

Durable, Quality Sword
Thought this would be a high quality foam sword, but has more of a plastic feels. Heavier than expected too. If you get smacked with this, it feels like getting smacked with a broom handle. I wouldn't recommend for younger kids that swing wildly. However, it was a great fit for my son who uses it for taekwondo poomsae.

Training sword
This sword has some weight to it and could do some damage. Should be used safely.

Sold as described
It's pretty struddy and straight. Just wish it came with a saya to holster the sword. Had to buy separately.

With a little custom work...
So I own the Cold Steel O-Bokken, but only because I wanted a polypro bokken with a closer-to-proportionate handle length to my REAL Cold Steel Warrior katana, which I custom refitted with a full 14 inch handle I spent literal days working on (the bulk of time spent was split between wood-shaping by hand, and doing the ACTUAL full-wrap black stingray skin work on it - Cold Steel just does the cut side-panel thing like everyone else). So what I did with the O-Bokken once I got it, was cut it to the exact 29-inch blade length that the Cold Steel Warrior Katana has and then spend extra time hand-shaping the tip back to proper shape with hand files and fine sandpaper.now I have a cold Steel Bokken with a handle length that's only 2 inches short of my real sword's handle length, but which also has the full matching blade length of my real sword too.THE POINT HERE:A man who is not only not above a little research & hard work at home but who actually appreciates the results of a thing done right, can really delve deep into a really rock-solid quality of training in the way o the Japanese sword.Thank you.
