Great for day hikes!
I bought this CamelBak for a trip to Zion, The Arches and Canyonland National Parks. It was the perfect size for me! It was very comfortable, the straps sat where they were supposed to, and I felt the back supports really made a difference. I am 5'1 (5'2" on a good day, lol). There were enough pockets for me to put things in. Great for a day hike!

As Described, Works great.
I bought this for my wife. She uses it every day on her morning hike and loves it. Quality is great with no issues so far.

Well built with an impressive hydration system
I bought the Cherry Tomato color because my helmet is red and thought they would match perfectly, but this pack is orange. It's not a negative in terms of usability, but you'd think that for this price range pictures would be accurate for product assessment.I haven't used the pack yet, but I wanted to get the color portion of this review out asap. As well as initial thoughts. The pack itself seems to be sturdy and well designed. I invested in this pack due to the high number of pockets and compartments it has for storage and it does not disappoint. The fact that it came with a bonus tool pouch is a plus (not to mention the rain cover). All pockets are deep and sizeable. The pack has reflective fabric on the front (as does the rain cover). There are some silver designs on the side of the pack, but sadly these aren't reflective. The air foil provides a sturdy back surface with minimal surface area contact. I'm very interested to see how it fairs when taking it out on a ride. The air foils also makes the body of the pack sit away from your head (which is a major plus when you are short like me).The magnetic hook for the water tube is located on the right side with no options of moving it to the left. The tube is easily removable from the bladder (a quick button push and you're done). The bladder is also incredibly easy to close. The bladder has a hefty handle that allows easy maneuvering.Overall, the pack looks sturdy and ready for adventures. I'm very disappointed on the color of the pack. I also wish the chest clips had a built in whistle as the north face packs have.

Holds plenty of water and is easy to get to when riding on the trails on my mountain bike.
Love the color, all the storage for my stuff, and that it is easy to use when riding on the trails. I just leave the valve open and it doesn't drip.

Made for a short person
I read the reviews about this item saying it was too short to properly fit on your hips... and I ordered it anyway. Don't do that. I thought I could adjust the arm straps so it properly sat on my hips, but you can't do that because of the horizontal chest strap that connects the 2 arm straps. Once you get the straps long enough to sit on your hips, the horizontal strap chokes you. I am 5'6" and have a regular torso length. I would only recommend this for a woman with a very short torso. Measure yourself before you order. I went to a local store, tried on a bazillion Camelbaks (they all fit slightly differently so I HIGHLY recommend you do this) and ended up getting one without the hip straps. None of them fit me properly. On a good note, it is very well-maid (as are all Camelbaks) and I was happy with it. It was a bit on the heavy side, but the removable bike tool pouch was a nice bonus.

Great pack
I love all the pockets and storage capabilities. It's low profile design is so comfortable to wear and the bladder is amazingly easy to refill. It's a little tricky to get it back into place when the bag is full but it's workable.

Great for short women.
Love how there is extra padding and venting away from the woman's neck area. Also like the little extra side pockets on the waist strap.

Hard and uncomfortable on upper back; too small
"Airfoil back panel is our most advanced back panel providing maximum comfort and ventilation even on the longest rides". I bought this to replace an older softer Camelpack but I am very disappointed how uncomfortable it is. The "airfoil back panel" is HARD and I hate how it hits the bones of my upper spine as I walk. Perhaps this is made for cycling and not hiking? It otherwise looks well made, but I don't feel it is comfortable enough to go hiking with for a few hours. I will be returning it.

Came in really handy.
Came in really handy as I walked the Narrows of Zion canyon - an 8-hour day (one of my friends likes to take many pictures). The only thing that would make it even better would be if one of the small hip pouch could house an iPhone.

Great camelpak for mtb biking.
Great pack, I use it mainly for mtb biking and carry bike tools, spare bike parts, first aid, snacks, lightweight jackets etcIt has lots of pockets and compartments and the bladder is nice and large.Only slight downside is the lid on the bladder takes some getting used to, and finicky to close but as long as it’s closed properly, no leaks!
