Bought this about 6 months ago. I am currently shopping for a replacement case. It was really nice for the first couple of months - I got a lot of compliments on it. Then one piece chipped away from just regular wear and tear. Then another. Then the adhesive between the wood and the plastic started failing. Now another piece is chipping.I consider myself pretty easy on my phone. I don't toss it around. I've only dropped it once. But I also don't baby it.Overall, the case has protected my phone and it's looked stylish while doing it. I just wish it were higher quality and would last a little longer.

The wood looks great. I was worried about the plastic before I got it, but like that it keeps the case light and sleek. I haven't dropped my phone with this new case on a hard surface, so I can't attest to it's protective abilities but expect that it'll provide adequate protection.I was very satisfied with their customer service. I contacted Rocketcases because there was a small defect in the first unit I got. They were friendly and helpful, and immediately sent a replacement.To protect the screen, I use the Monoprice tempered glass screen protector and would recommend it for use with this case. It's fairly thick, so it doesn't work with every case. But it and the front edge of this case match perfectly, giving my phone a great look and feel while assuaging my worries about breaking the screen.

I would rate this 5 stars but when I initially ordered, my status said delivered but the item never actually showed up, it disappeared into the universe somewhere (perhaps the neighbors or the mailman stole it, who knows). I contacted Amazon and they refunded my money. Because I'm nuts (and because it was a cool case) I re-ordered. The second time it arrived on time and as advertised. I've received several compliments so far. Would consider rocket cases in the future.

I really like the wood aspect but I had the case for a total of a week or so before it broke. I did not drop it or submit it to any sort of impact that I can recall but the side piece that frames the volume buttons has snapped. Bad design. If that was fixed it would be great.

The people at Rocketcase are clearly here to stay - great customer service in support of a good product. They do not hesitate to acknowledge quality problems and do the right thing.Will definitely consider them for my next case as well.

Very clean design; low profile and seems well-made. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I haven't seen its longevity of how well it will hold up or protect my phone. So far, so good.

Good case, but it didn't last that long before it broke on me.

Case looks good and the wood is great, but the case is a little too big and my phone moves around.
