Quiet and good for Your value
This air pump is good for a smaller aquarium or hobbyist on a budget. It is small and seems to work well I have been running it consistently for about six months now.

Awesome little pump
Arrived in perfect condition and on time. I love that it is so quiet. I have a 3 gallon betta tank and it works great. I will definitely order another when I'm ready to set up the other little tank I have.

Strong, but cumbersome
Some may appreciate the 5 feet in cord length, but if you've suction cups on the motor and then two additional sanction cups for the hosing then why do you need 5 feet of line? Not to mention, the strength of the motor also forces the line out of the socket after some time and so I've come home on various occasions to a loud motor pumping air to nowhere.Other than those minor inconveniences, job well done.I did take mine out because it was too powerful for my betta tank (1gal) and it appeared to be exhausting my fish.

NOT "silent", or even close to that
This thing is louder than the pumps I use for 50 gallon tanks.It gives off a buzzing sound that's like an old light outside a warehouse. That typical 60hz buzz.It does "work" still, but not very powerful. Nothing more than a 20 gallon tank some filter for this thing.

Great airflow
Provides sufficient airflow to push air to a 5 inch bar diffusion block in the aquarium. Quiet enough in a bedroom to not wake the sleeper, taped to the rear of the aquarium it is out of sight. It pushes enough air that it routinely pops of the direction airflow nozzle.
