I got these stair runners as a temporary carpet whilst I'm having work done around the house.They've been excellent. They've gripped well and put up with a more than average amount of footfall as workers have gone up and down during the day.I have the grey which look nice against the pale wood of my stairs and they've done a great job of protecting the wood in the meantime.The average house has 13 stairs. Carpeting stairs can be expensive so these runners are excellent value in my opinion.I've hoovered them every day and they've come up well. The information says they are washable but I haven't washed them so far.Each runner comes with a plastic coating to protect the underside. I found a couple of them a bit fiddly to get off around the edges but overall it was fine.The stitching around the edges is excellent on mine with no frays, so they look great.I've been impressed with the way these runners have held up and I'll be keeping them for re-use in the future as they are great for parties etc if you want to protect your stairs against boots or high heels.

These are nice quality, but I don’t know why you’d pay these prices for them - they seem bizarrely expensive for what they are. However, if the price isn’t an issue for you, I can confirm that they are good quality, the adhesive works, they look nice, they are a good size, and I like the colour :-)

Those plain looking carpets for stairs is just what I needed for my stairs. Non slip backing is covered until you install. Gave stairs a good clean and put these lovelies down for a soft underfoot feeling.

Our stairs at home are wooden so quite noisy when being used , been thinking about carpeting them , but these are an easier and more cost effective option.You get four "treads" in a pack , so I will need three packs unfortunately , but still cost effective .The carpet strip is well made and they are bound around the edges, the carpet is not that deep pile , but then you don't really want that on stair as it will have a lot of foot traffic.The strips have a TPE backing , which seems to stick really well , but I spent a lot of time cleaning the stair treads before I put them on , but at the moment they don't moveJust wish each pack had more in them , even maybe five per pack ?

Perfect for the few small steps i have leading from the garage into the house.No slip and easy to fit.Recommended.
