I could copy and paste the other vine review by Harry because I agree - it looks and feels cheap. It could really use a button to open it up, especially for the price. It is completely manual with a small lock to keep it open and the handle is slightly short (and that's coming from someone who is small). We ordered it for our daughter to keep in her locker in case it rains so we will use it until it breaks and then get something different. It might be worth the price if you're really looking for something to customize rather than something to hold up to the weather and keep you dry, but we have a plain black one that we hope keeps our daughter dry.UPDATED to say: The frame rusted on this umbrella after ONE USE. Would not recommended this to anyone.

We got this for carrying around in a backpack, so we didn't put a lot of thought into the order. I was a little surprised, when it arrived, by how flimsy it looks and feels.I'm not sure if it needs to be made out of special fabric for the personalization aspect, but the umbrella cover doesn't feel or look like a normal umbrella. It almost looks like a piece of plastic was stretched over the frame. Since we just got a plain black umbrella with no photo or artwork on it, the strange quality of the material really stands out. It might look less noticeable if there was. a picture on it.It opens and closes fine. The plastic parts don't seem like they have a long lifespan. We'll use it until it breaks, but won't be sorry to replace it.
