They are slightly longer than the ones that they are replacing, but not a problem for me. The quality is fine, although they do seem to be a little thinner than I would have liked, although that seems to be the trend with these nowadays, as my old ones were the same. Handling very hot items can still result in feeling the heat through these after several seconds, so it can't be done for any length of time. However, my old ones were the same, and these suit the kitchen's colour scheme perfectly. Form over function?

GORGEOUS! GREAT LIME GREEN COLOUR AND A REAL BARGAIN PRICE. Would recommend these place mats to anyone who wants a true LIME GREEN colour. Delighted. To be honest I find people who complain about getting 2 mats for £2.50 a little bit strange. OF COURSE YOUR NOT GETTING BUCKINGHAM PALACE QUALITY, HOWEVER, you are getting 2 decent everyday kitchen table mats than can easily be cleaned if there’s an accidental spillage. Give them to a toddler they are going to get trashed. It’s decent everyday kitchen wear.

Not good at all. Does not wash well and very thin and small. I have bought an apron from Aldi for 3.99 pound which is much better quality than this and very disappointing with the quality of this. I do not recommend anyone to buy this at all.

The quality was quite good and reasonably priced. My only quibble was that the green was much brighter than in the picture. It therefore lost a star. Still, it did say lime green, and that is what they are - bright lime green. I guess I will get used to the colour and they do brighten up my kitchen.

I have a purple theme going on in my kitchen, so these were perfect for that. However, they're not the best at doing their job, in that I can't hold a tray for long with them as the heat does seep through after some seconds have passed.Good value for money and will probably be fine to use for some months to come, but I probably wouldn't buy them again.

On rare occasions the heat has come through so I do still take care when using these

The ties have had to be sewn back on two cushions so far, and now I can see some fraying on the tie seams, but that's easily remedied. The material is an attractive apple green and machine washable, although the foam padding thins out where the most weight is put on it.

Very prompt delivery and the item is exactly as described. The mats are larger than some placemats and not thick enough to trust with exceptionally hot things, but for everyday table protection they're fine. They're the same colour on both sides, a light 'go with anything' brown.Very slight quibble – they have two maker's labels, one on each side, and I would prefer to have one side unlabelled.I haven't yet tested their washability.
