High quality with 100% pistachio as advertised but Very dry.

Not the classical baklava and expensive
I am a big fan of baklava but this turned out to be completely different from what I am used to. First of all, there is no filo pastry but rather a kataifi pastry wrapped around huge clusters of pistachio nuts. Not very sweet and no distinctive honey syrup around or inside.The box is lovely but there is only one layer of baklava so it comes out very expensive.

These pistachio sweets have a mild flavour yet are tasty, and not excessively sweet. They have a soft crunchiness, and melt in the mouth. They come attractively presented in a substantial box, making them an ideal gift. They are however expensive compared to similar offerings.
