I have very high arches and was experiencing a lot of pain in the soles of my feet, specifically my heels. After much research, I found Altras, and they have been a lifesaver. They are very lightweight, have the perfect height, and a wide toe box. I have been using them for several months, and the soles of my feet no longer hurt. I love them, and I will soon buy another pair.

Great shoes with a foot shaped toe box!

These are great running shoes that are comfortable and with a wide toe box. However, they were not black like advertised for some reason.I had to use the Kaps Black Colour Restore for Sneakers to change them black, which you can see from the before and after pictures. The lighting is slightly off, but I used a pair of black sketchers as a reference and so that you can see the difference.Apart from that, these are really good quality running shoes that are also quite stylish.

Excellent trainers. Bit expensive but its a fit extremely scarce to find.

The Altra Men's Escalante 4 is an average option in the world of running shoes. I am having trouble with the heels collapsing in..... I have owned 4 pair of lonepeaks and 4 pair of superiors. I was looking for a more road oriented shoe that would run the same as the superior, but am disspointed by the softness of the foam and the heelcup seems to push my heel too much to the inside.

ESCALANTE2を履いていて履き心地が抜群だったので普段履き用に購入。日頃からなるべくALTRAのシューズを履くようにして足の改善をはかっています。

Sehr gute Verarbeitung, toll breite Zehenbox, aber passt leider nicht

The Altra Escalante 4 is super comfortable right out of the box. It feels a little snugger than previous versions. It's holding up well so far, and they've become the shoe I wear the most on my day to day.It's hard to find shoes with a wide toe box and cushioned!

Auf der Suche nach möglichst minimalistischen Laufschuhen mit Nullsprengung und breiter Zehenbox bin ich auf die Altra Escalante 4 gestoßen.Leider war dieser Schuh, wie auch das Nachfolgemodell, überhaupt nicht für meine breiten Füße von 10cm Breite geeignet. Die Zehen haben in der Breite Platz, nach oben nicht und hinter den Zehen wird der Schuh so eng, dass es unangenehm wird. Schade, da mir die Escalante von Altra optisch sehr zugesagt haben.Wem diese Schuhe schon zu eng sind, der braucht die 5er nicht testen. In Altra Torin und Olympus findet man mehr Platz, jedoch sind diese Schuhe nicht so minimalistisch.
