Obviously folks will have somewhat varying experiences but the lamp I received is beautiful. Heavy, well enough made (for a mass produced ostensibly cheap lamp). My only qualm is that the switch is on the cord, which is crappy and feels very cheap for a lamp that presents as high end.

Love the style of this lamp! Bought two. Easy to assemble, and the brass looks like brass (unlike the last one I bought somewhere else where it was a laminate). Love the darker lamp shade. It says black but it's not, it's just darker. Perfect with our midcentury side tables

We LOVE our new MCM lamp. I didn’t have the highest expectations being that it was only $100, and similar lamps from West Elm or Crate & Barrel are three to four times as much, but WOW this looks like a much pricier piece. The wood base matches the Inez credenza from CB2 perfectly. You will not be disappointed.

I can't believe this lamp costs over 80 dollars, in my opinion it is barely worth 30. The style is of course beautiful but the product is poorly designed and executed. As another reviewer already commented, because of the way the interior metal part is organized, you will see weird looking shades on the cover from almost every direction, it makes the fabric look stained! Also the golden color on the base seems to be applied on top. There was some kind of sticky/oily stain on mine and I tried to remove it with a bit of soap, which to my surprise created a patch of silver that now stands in contrast to the golden shade, not a great look. As far as the construction, the finial and the tube were defective, the tube was missing the screw as shown on the instructions, making it useless. Lastly, to add insult to injury, the packaging for this was absolutely horrendous. It was packed with the worst kind of polystyrene that crumbles to a million tiny pieces with minimal effort and sticks to everything. I spent a lot of time cleaning up after this overprice lamp, the whole thing was just an unnecessary ordeal and I expected better of Amazon.

This floor lamp is unique and functional. I’m not someone who usually writes reviews, but I shamelessly rely on them to help me make buying decisions and had wished that more specifics had been included in the item description when I was considering this floor lamp. The shade is 18 inches tall and 16 inches in diameter. The table sits 21 inches above the ground and is approximately 17.5 inches in diameter. Overall, the quality is about 8 out of 10 in my opinion. It isn’t as nice in build quality as something you’d buy from Pottery Barn, but a little nicer than something from Target. The velcro assembly of the shade is fairly easy but you definitely see the seam where the two ends meet in case you’re planning to put this in the middle of a room. Ours sits in a corner against the wall so the seam is not noticeable. Another note, this lamp is not something you could buy and return easily if it doesn’t fit your space. The packing would be difficult to put back together and a chore to try to repackage and ship back. I’m happy with the purchase and would recommend only if you’ve double-checked the dimensions for your space.

Lamp came with 4 parts (base, shade, spacer, finial) and bulbs, shade preassembled. Easy to put together and very solid piece. Looks good and just right for a corner reading lamp.

The media could not be loaded. It fit great where I needed it to. I will buy a second one. Easy to put together. There was a dent in the lamp shade while shipping. It was very well packed so it must have been hit hard. I have the damaged section facing the wall to not be seen. I’m reaching out to Rivet for a new shade. Overall it’s a great buy!

Very nice lamp. The quality is nice and packaging was very good. If mid century modern Is your style, this lamp is a must for the price. I placed mine in the guest bathroom. It’s a perfect fit for the corner of the counter.
