CNA Study Guide 2018 & 2019: CNA Exam Preparation 2018 & 2019 and Practice Test Questions for the Certified Nurse Assistant Exam

I am currently offering support and tutoring a group of refugees/immigrants in an 8-week course to help them become CNAs. They have completed the course, and I am now tutoring a few of them in test preparation for the CNA Examination. I found and bought the CNA Study Guide 2018 & 2019 online and have been using it with them.It has been very helpful, and I like how it his outlined with practice questions and answer explanations after each section of the test. I do wish it had a glossary of vocabulary words (we find we have to look up the meaning of words). Also, the test-taking strategies are a little to advanced and complicated for my students to understand. However, it offers a good outline and I've been able to adjust the level and interpret the points.

I took the CNA test two times and failed both times. Then I ordered this book, read it, studied the test questions over and over until I got everyone of them correct! This book is great for many reasons, one being that they take the test and separate it into a bunch of small tests according to the subject. Before I even read the test, I took all the sectioned tests at the same time, the sections I didn't do so hot on, I then went back and read and studied more than the other sections. I understood why I failed the first two times. I went to a testing center that my state authorized me to be able to have the test questions read to me before I answered. I passed in an hour!!! It has been a life-saver! The guide provides a thorough, yet concise, review of the most important topics. At the conclusion of each section, there is a 20-30 question practice test. The best part of the practice test is the section that provides rationale for the correct or incorrect responses.I find that this study guide is the perfect final component of our complete coursework to help students feel prepared and confident for the CNA competency exam.

I love that this study guide gives us details to the correct answers so we can correct ourselves and go over them. I'm sure this book will help me raise my score and also be ahead in my class.

This book is current, condensed information that will definitely help students pass the written CNA exam

I like that it gave a brief review on the topic followed by questions then the rationale. The price was reasonable. I think the book was helpful to me.

They, in-error, write that the head of the bed down is “reverse Trendelenburg.” Lay supine, put head of bed down = regular Trendelenburg.

I purchased this for a friend in CNA Class. She said its a great book (and the same one they use in class)
