Our dog is an extremely hard on his toys. We normally measure how long his toys last in terms of minutes, maybe hours, This tire has lasted for months, and has kept going strong. He picks it up and whips it across the floor and then chases after it. When we need to him to be occupied for some time, we will put peanut butter on the inside part of the tire. We liked it so much we ordered a second one about a month ago. I would definitely recommend this for any dog.

its a regular rubber toy versus an actual tire material. If you have a chewer it won't last very long because its not super durable.

I sure hope my dog doesn't need surgery! He got this toy about a week ago and tonight bhe got two pieces off and I didn't notice until I was woken up by his vomiting all over. I've seen one of the pieces come up (in his 8th vomit pile), but haven't seen the other. Don't buy this toy. My dog is a 10 month old mini golden cocker doodle and loves to chew. He weighs about 24 pounds and was easily able to get two big pieces off this toy. This is not suitable as a dog toy!

I have a small breed dog, so I didn't expect to have to try to find indestructible toys for him, but boy, was I wrong! He chews everything to bits! I absolutely love this tire - he can chew on it and be rough with it and has yet to be able to tear any pieces from it. He likes to put his mouth in the hole in the middle to carry it around and will run from room to room with it. He also loves to try to get his snout into the inner ring of the tire, so it would be great for treats of some kind if they would work in there - I haven't tried that. I think he could benefit from a slightly smaller model, but I don't know that one exists. Overall, I love this - it provides him amusement and something he can be rough with that I don't have to worry about getting destroyed (especially since he swallows everything he chews up).

This is a pretty good quality dog toy. The rubber tire is a great size for indoor play-time. For those of you with very curious and intelligent pups, you can hide little treats or toys inside the rim of the tire to add another dimension to play-time! We have mini tennis balls that we fit into place, and let our girl go to town trying to get them out. Fun for everyone!

Puppy (just 1 year old this month) loved it but it barely lasted three weeks.

I ordered my daughter tires for her car from another supplier, and ordered this to put in a giant box and wrap, so she'd have a present under the tree (she had no idea her tires were in my garage). It made her giggle, then she gave the toy tire to her brother's dog. He's a 40 pound dog, and this toy is great for him. He's not big enough to shred it up, and it's not too big for him to carry around. Innovative chew toy.

This toy lives in our dogs crate when he's in it and usually follows him everywhere he goes. Despite regular abuse throughout the day and night it is still holding up great. It is soft enough for a teething puppy but doesn't wear out. A large greenie dental treatment fits perfectly in the center. It's Ash's favourite when we give it to him like that and he has to chew it out.
