Q: Can this be left up for a long period of time?

I wouldn't, in fact I just installed my 2 tents for a gender reveal party on July 1st. One of the tents is already broken. The bars are not sturdy as they show on their advertisement of kids hanging on the bars. The bottom feet where you anchor the tent down (2) have already broken off. I'm sending the broken tent back.

Q: will it hold heat in with a space heater?

We never have tried that yet. the sides do cut the wind and rain though.

Q: Will this canopy support hanging a camping hammock underneath with a 220lb person all night?

I doubt it. It's a good canopy and it's withstood rain And wind. But I don't think you could string a hammock up in it and sleep all night. Be pulling in a different way than what it is made for. I've got plants hanging but that's pulling straight down. So far so good. I'd get a rain tarp or invest in an all weather Eclosed camping hammock. Hope this helps.

It’s sturdy. Easy to use. I have tried a lot and like this one so far. I have also recommend it to many that see it set up.
