I've given up on buying women's socks
It doesn't seem to be possible to find socks that fit actual human feet anymore. Regardless of style or brand, they are inelastic, too tight around the ankles, and weird lengths/shapes. Up until a few years ago I didn't have to think twice about buying socks, but practically overnight, apparently all the factories (or maybe it's just one factory) making all the sock brands in China changed to a different sizing system, and since then no socks from any brand are any good. As for finding all-cotton socks, haha. So to heck with it. I found some diabetic-style men's socks that I can sort of use (even though I'm not diabetic), and I guess those will have to do. Just one more example of the unceasing degeneration in quality of nearly all types of mass-manufactured products that we've been dealing with for years now. I certainly don't recommend these.

Very tight, especially the crew part
They seem to be well made, but they are very, very tight. I bought "Gildan Women's Half Cushion Crew Socks, 10 Pairs". My shoe size is 11B (but actually narrower than that), so I bought the socks for shoe size 8-12. They fit fine on the foot, though very snug, but the ankle part is only about 2 inches across and barely stretches. I'm sure if I wore them all day, my ankles would swell. They'd probably work fine for someone who is very young, very slim, and athletic, like I was when I was 15. Not so much any more! I can't wear these socks, so the 9 unused pairs will be going to charity. Maybe they'll find a tall, skinny teenager to give them to.

Not for feet larger than a size 6N womens.
No one over a size 6 women’s shoe will be comfortable in these. The tightness of the crew sleeve begins right in the top curve of the foot between the arch and the ankle, which is really annoying. I have size 7.5 narrow feet and thought, based on the reviews, that I’d be fine with them, but I’m not. I don’t think this product was designed based on western sizes. Plus, contrary to some of the reviews, they aren’t soft. They’re really stiff. So anyone with texture issues is going to have a real problem.

great simple cotton blend socks ...
Review of - Gildan Women's Half Cushion Crew Socks, 10 PairsI wear these to the gym. I first bought these for about the same price at a big box store. Then one day it occurred to me to check on amazon. Now I can get a bag of these socks delivered without even having to go to the store, and for the same price.I use these socks for wearing to the gym for workouts.

New go-to brand of socks.
I had bought Hanes socks for ages. I bought these Gildan socks in a store when Hanes were not in stock and found them to be so much more comfortable. They are more cushioned, keep my feet drier during a long work day, and stay tight all day. They have lasted a good while even with bleaching and machine drying. Great buy.

They have a comfortable thick cushion bottom
I bought these socks because they are mostly cotton. They keep my feet warm but not sweaty. They have a comfortable thick cushion bottom. They are well stitched. I would have gave 5 stars but they were a little tight around the ankle part of the sock.

ok not great
These socks are okay but not awesome. They are on the thin side so don't expect a lot of warmth in cold climates. Also if you wear a shoe size 8 or more - buy the next size up option, these socks shrink. If your legs swell you might want to look elsewhere - the band at the top is a bit snug and not forgiving, I have divots in my legs at the end of the day.

Too hard to find decent socks at a decent price
I am disappointed in the fit of these socks. They are ok to wear with shoes, but if I wear with my slippers in the house the heel frequently slides around to the front or side of my foot. I hate that. And the calf is too tight. Why can’t anyone make socks that are looser around the calf and stay better on my foot? I am giving a few stars because the socks are warm, the cushioned bottoms are nice when they STAY on the bottom, and the material doesn’t make any foot odor like those gross synthetics do. I have also noticed these don’t get dry on the delicate drying cycle, even with extra time, so I have to turn them inside out or run them twice.

Great socks!
I am usually a brand snob especially for socks because I am SUPER picky about how my socks fit / quality, all those things. These are the perfect thickness on the bottom and have good flexibility /elasticity that they arent just some thick, stiff sock. The crew part of the sock is a little thinner IN A GOOD WAY although there is not tooooo much elasticity right at the top so I prefer to wear them a little scrunched down. but it is definitely a good plain white crew sock to wear with like, air force one's etc.

Thick and Sturdy Cotton
These are great socks, and thick enough that even in winter they tend to insulate my feet quite well. I chose a cotton sock specifically because it wicks away moisture, and they work like a treat. My only complaint would be the fit is a bit tight, and I have large calf's so it gets a bit uncomfortable folded down to accommodate. If you have slim feet and legs, buy your size; if not maybe think about buying one up, depending. In any case, I'd buy these again, and probably will one day, when these get threadbare.

Perfect fit for size 5 foot
Bought Size 4-10. These socks are very small and the elastic is tight. I have size 5 feet, and these are snug before washing. No way would it fit a size 10 foot! I usually have trouble finding small enough socks when they’re sold in size 6-10 or 7-11, they’re always to big, like for a size 8-9 foot. These are definitely smaller than other brands. I would not recommend them to anyone who’s foot is larger than a size 6. Package should be labelled shoe size 4-6. They do seem to be well made compared to others.

Good Socks For A Good Price
Comfortable socks that fit well. I got the larger size and am glad I did, as they do seem to fit a little small. My feet are size 7.5, and I got the size 8-11, and they fit perfectly. I like the fact that they are snug on the leg; I hate socks that get loose and baggy and slide down your feet if you’re wearing boots, etc. I’m quite pleased with the purchase; good socks and a good price.

Good for small feet
I wear size 5-6 women’s shoes. These socks fit me perfectly. Once I wash them they will probably fit snug. I do not recommend anyone with a larger shoe size to buy them, it will not fit. The elastic at the top is quite tight on me but I do have larger calves. I plan on wearing them scrunched down anyway. Worth the price.
