Well made, solid, handy release clip (easy to take on and off). It won't break, it looks nice and it is soft on her neck. Can't think of any other feature that's important in a dog collar.

Bright collar easy to see dog

The usual collar we use on our border collie has a soft-lined section, but the Plutus Pet collar has soft lining pretty much end to end, with a different material exposed when the length is adjusted and covering the strong D-hook to which the lead gets attached. The clasp is of the tried-and-tested quick-release variety seen on pushchairs and such like, our usual collar has a similar clasp and it's not given out yet.It's a strong collar, yet gentle, which will be particularly good if your dog has a coat that's not particularly dense. Whether that translates to "difficult to keep clean" remains to be seen, we'll have to see how well it holds up, although a run in the washing machine will no doubt bring it up like new.

This is actually a really nice collar. It's relatively soft, if a little bulky, but the stitching is good, there's no loose ends, and the clip and metal leash loop feel solid. I got the blue collar, and it's a very delicate pale baby blue tape sewn onto a doubled-back layer of white backing fabric.What I do wish is that they'd take these fold-backs into account more when they size down dog collars. They obviously start with the Medium or Large collar, then size down, and to be fair, they do make this collar narrower on the small size, but the thickness of the blue tape over the doubled-back white layer means it's really three layers thick at any point. Once you fold those three layers back on themselves and into a second buckle, it becomes far too thick on smaller dogs, so the whole collar won't sit in a circular shape about the neck and gapes awkwardly, thick enough to hold itself completely flat over the doubled-back adjustment, which is six layers thick. Again to be fair, this isn't going to be a problem at all if you have a Labrador-sized dog--the thickness won't matter. But on my mini Schnauzer, it made the fit very awkward.So all in all, a great collar, but a bit too thick for small dogs. A pity, as this is a nice collar.

This is a very well made and substantial collar. It consists of 2 layers - the outer pink one is a normal (cotton?) weave, but then inside is a soft white rubbery lining. It feels very comfortable to me - and the dog hasn't complained. All attachments are strong and well-made.I ordered a hot pink collar in Medium size for our cockapoo who has a neck measurement of 38cm. However I should have gone for the small, I think. It does look rather out of scale on her. However my rescue boy looks very handsome in it!I have never seen a collar with a white clip and worried that it would quickly look a bit mucky. However after several weeks of wear it is still looking bright - and is also easily cleaned if it does get muddy. It does rather stand out being so bright, which I'm not sure if I like. But all in all a good collar which I'd recommend

This is a good width and stylish looking dog collar with a very comfortable inner that our dog likes. It has a substantial clasp made of heavy duty plastic, which holds together very well. There is a plastic adjustment buckle and a good solid metal D ring to attach your lead to.The stitching is very good throughout, as is the choice of materials. The only reason I've knocked a star off is because of the choice of colour for the inner padding and clasp colour. The cream colour looks very nice, but it gets dirty quite quickly, so after a damp, muddy walk in the UK countryside with its perpetual rain, the cream inner band already looks mucky. It is hand washable so we will see how well it comes up after a wash, but at the moment it's looking pretty grubby and I suspect that it will often get this way. A darker colour would have been a better choice I reckon.However, all-in-all this is a very comfortable collar that looks well made and secure. Recommended.

My Golden Retriever has wore this for 4 months now. It still looks like new and has held up to weekly washes in the wash machine. My dog has thyroid issues and some collars have rubbed all the hair off of her neck. That is not the case with this collar as it is padded and I am thankful all of her neck hair has grown back with the use of this collar. It is a quality collar at a great price!

My pup seemed to like how soft this collar was at first but, in typical border collie fashion, she can wiggle this one off sometimes and it did not withstand the puppy shark teeth. I think this would be good for a dog who likes less of a challenge and doesn't see collars as a a fun puzzle game to remove at the end of the day. It's very cute in person though and I would absolutely get one again even though the end result likely wouldn't change.

Love the cheery yellow color. Makes my pup look so cute & looks great with his light colored beige coat. Easy to clean! I’ve put it through the washer and dryer and no shrinkage or any visible signs of ware & tear. Highly recommend!

If your looking for a nice comfortable, lightweight collar for your dog, this is it. I also have the harness and leash made by the same company. They are well made, sturdy, but supple. The hardware is made with quality materials and are strong. I would recommend this collar to others that want a lightweight , well made collar.

This is a nice, lightweight, soft woven cotton collar with a soft interior. I have the coordinating harness and it washes in the washing machine well. I like that the clasp is white plastic instead of the usual black, which looks so much nicer on my mostly white dog. However, be careful with the sizing, as the size chart is definitely off. My girl’s neck measures 11” exactly, so based on the size chart, I ordered a size XS, which is supposed to extend up to 12.2”. I measured the full extended length of the collar including the buckle but not including the male end clasp that inserts into the buckle. It totaled 10 5/8” - far shorter than the advertised 12.2” - and too tight for my baby. I returned it for size S. So, a nice collar, but the size chart needs to be updated to accurately reflect the actual, usable collar lengths not counting the clasp. Definitely size up if your dog’s neck is near the upper limit.
