Good build quality and solid performance, generally quiet but not when working harder to cool things down.
Other reviews state that it is a quiet fridge freezer, which it is when the inverter compressor motor is just ticking over; and in general the fan noise is minimal. Open and shut the doors a few times and the motor increases its speed and becomes a little louder. This itself is not an issue but then the fridge makes rhythmic 'throbbing type' noise which I am still trying to get used to; I think it's something to do with the refrigerant moving about. It also comes on much more frequently than my previous fridge freezer did, but that means it is controlling the temperatures more keenly, and it is also controlling the fridge and freezer seperately (two thermostats). The other thing to watch out for is that your fingers can become trapped whilst closing the fridge door, but avoid this by pushing it shut rather than using the recessed handle. This fridge freezer has got loads of room, the build quality is very good; the doors have got a good closing action which I like. There isn't much scope for adjusting the shelves but there is plenty of storage in the door for tall bottles, and there is also a handy pull out shelf. The freezer drawers can be opened when the freezer door is only open 90 degrees (right angles) so you can have it quite close to a side wall. The user manual is an appalling translation to English, but does not impede use of the appliance, unless you want to swap the door opening, in which case you might want professional help! The fridge may not be the easiest to clean if there was a major spillage because at the bottom there is a screw down plate where liquid may become trapped round the edges, and there are also some upward facing air vents there. However these are protected underneath the salad box, and it is also possible to remove the salad box without having to open the fridge door too wide.In general I am pleased with the quality and performance, with the exception of the noise issue when it is working harder to cool things down.

It's like having a shiny version of the Monolith from 2001 in my kitchen. It's much quieter than the old fridge/freezer I had, and as it's rated A+++ (rather than B for my old fridge/freezer) it should use less electricity. It keeps the fridge temperature within about a degree of what I set. I especially like the ability to set the actual fridge and freezer temperature to a particular value from the front panel, rather than having a dial with numbers on that bear little relationship to termperature.
