He has had a couple other cheaper and less quality drones that he was never even able to really get off the ground. Right out of the box he had it in the air very first try! I cannot explain the excitement he had! We had trouble pairing with his iPhone 7 and received an email from Neil at Holy Stone inquiring if we were enjoying our purchase. I told him my son was thrilled but was having trouble connecting to his phone. Within 10 min I received a detailed message back from Neil with step by step instructions which connected immediately. My son flew it all around the neighborhood until the battery died and stated it was he best birthday gift he ever received. Fast forward to today and the sad...He came straight home from school and took it to the park, absolutely the best! Unfortunately due to “pilot error” his precious birthday drone is in the top of a giant magnolia tree unable to be retrieved 😢 Can’t day enough about Holy stone’s customer service and the quality Of this drone. We will buy another for sure once he is able to save up. Don’t hesitate to buy this drone if you’re looking for the perfect starter!

Before our first drone purchase we spent endless hours reading review after review from drone owners on their experiences with not only the drone they purchased but the customer service help they needed if they has any problems or issues, well let me tell you right out of the gate i called customer service with the simplest of questions like how do the propeller guards go in do they screw in and is their a screw driver included in this case all i needed to do was snap in the propeller guards so easy but being new to a drone these simple questions were confusing to me. I didn't even know how to charge the battery without an adapter but i bought the 4 in 1 battery charging hub and we were good to go. On our maiden voyage disaster struck i lost the drone as it went up and right over my neighbors house but thanks to the camera we were able to figure out where the drone landed and an hour later we found it. On our second flight this time our drone went up and straight out over the deep woods behind our house never to return. I wrote a letter to Holy Stone explaining exactly what had happened and asking them if i could purchase the exact drone HS200D minus the remote control even a return model that was used at a fair price but Holy Stone wouldn't do that for me instead they sent me a BRAND NEW Holy Stone HS200D drone kit. Amazon should be proud to have such a Seller as Holy Stone on their website they go above and beyond what any company should be expected to do. If your on the fence about buying your first, second, third or more drone and haven't gone with Holy Stone before GO with them now. One more follow up with our second drone we practiced in the garage and got use to all the controls and then took our HS200D outside and we are now flying perfectly, it wasn't the HS200D that had any flaws, it was our own flying mistakes that caused us to lose our first drone. Thank You Holy Stone for introducing us to the fun of flying our drone.

Holystone has done it again!!!!!!. I have a couple other Holystone models and this one is as exceptional as the others. I have flown this for about 3 weeks now and I have flown it with the receiver and the smartphone and it flies exceptionally well. I purchased three other batteries and charger with this drone, so as to have a lot of flying time. I like the battery configuration for this drone because it forms beautifully to the shape of the body of the drone. It is proprietary to this drone but it charges quickly and with the extra batteries there is more than enough fly time. Holystone has put a lot of thought into this HS200D. The camera swivels approximately 30 degrees down from horizontal and has a 120 degree field of view with very crisp pictures. The camera will pickup some propeller movement on the horizontal, but swiveled down slightly it eliminates the problem. The video's are exceptional as well. I enjoy flying this in the headless mode to take pictures and video's. Very easy to control in any mode. This drone would be my choice for a beginner because of it's on button take of and land along with the hoover in place feature. The instructions and packaging are excellent. Very concise instructions and easy to follow. I have other brands of drones, but my all around favorites are HOLYSTONE!!!!!! I fly Holystone 3-4 times more than any other brand I have, to include my very expensive models. I recommend Holystone to everyone I talk to. Every model of Holystone I purchase, I purchase extra batteries for because I know that I will be flying it a lot.Posting photo's of drone in flight below.
