American Soft Linen 100% Cotton Luxury Turkish Towels, 3 Piece Towel Set

These are great towels, soft and absorbent. I have them in 3 colors. They are rather linty, so be sure to wash before using and expect dryer lint in the initial and subsequent washes.

I was quite pleasantly surprised at how much I actually liked these towels. First, the color is that beautiful electric blue. The towels are soft and not scratchy and, even though they have a decorative banding, it is not the stiff kind of banding where you lose a fourth of your towel acreage, I like them enough that I’m going to buy a few more sets.

These towels are exactly what I was hoping for. The 35x70 size is noticeably bigger than a regular bath towel and gives you plenty of coverage without feeling ridiculously bulky. The cotton feels soft and substantial, and they do a great job soaking up water after a shower while still drying surprisingly well between uses. I also appreciate the stitching along the edges because they feel like they’ll hold up to regular washing and everyday use. Having two in the set is perfect, and the oversized size would also be great for the pool, beach, or sauna. They have that thick, comfortable hotel-style feel that makes them a nice upgrade from ordinary bath towels.

UPDATED REVIEW I've updated my review from 4 to 5 stars. Since adding these towels to my guest bath, we've had 3 sets of overnight visitors. They have all offered unsolicited compliments on the fluffy softness and absorbency of these towels! I decided to buy another set for our master bath and my husband and I love them, too. I followed the same "delinting" process outlined in my original review below. Again, I was shocked by the amount of towel lint left in the dryer lint catcher, but it was worth the time and effort to be able to use them without leaving lint on our wet bodies. I don't know if it's due to the vinegar I used to set the dye in the first wash, but neither the black nor the navy blue towels have faded one bit after multiple washes. Great towels and I will definitely buy again! ORIGINAL REVIEW I bought these for use in our guest bath, where they will get limited use. When I opened the package, I thought I'd end up giving these thin, flat towels to my husband to use as car towels. I'm glad I decided to wash them a few times anyway because they transformed into pretty nice towels! I washed first with my usual detergent and a cup of vinegar hoping to set the dye. The amount of lint after drying was alarming! I put the towels through 4 more wash/dry cycles using no detergent. After 5 total cycles, I found the lint residue to be about the same as I'd find with my years old towels, with no fading. Amazingly, the towels got fluffier and fluffier with each wash and left no lint on my wet body when I tested one. If you don't mind investing the time it takes to make these towels usable, I don't think you can beat them in value and price. They Iook lovely hanging in my guest bath and I would order them again.

Great towel but make sure you wash it before using as it will shed quite a bit.

Not that great they shed and ate thin not thick. I think they mat last for a year or less. I do not think the mat last will hold up very well. I have had other brands of bath towels that held up much better. So for maybe kids going back to school they are ok but for me I think they are not good quality and cheap

After two months of use and washing, lints always spreading out every where. Tried out many solutions but still tge same. Just throw them into the garbage. Totally regret buying.

Finalmente ho avuto il piacere di ritrovare gli ‘asciugamani di una volta’: ottimi, assorbenti, soffici ecc. È il secondo set che prendo. Si lavano perfettamente. Se fossero disponibili in altri colori, li prenderei subito.

These are lovely towels....very little lint when washed the first time. Did not fade in color. Good quality for the price.
